While it looks like BTC is going on a little bit of a run, I am expecting that it will have one more pullback before the end of November and the run into the rest of the year begins. However, I have already started buying back the HIVE I sold at the pump last week, and even though it might not be near the bottom, I am happy to ladder in at a 50% volume gain. I sold some for BTC also and bought that back *a little too early* yesterday, but still, my average sell price was 2200 sats, so I don't consider buying back at 1400 a loss. 

As I have mentioned before, it is interesting that when trading, we see missing gains as a loss, even though the gains themselves might be extreme under any other circumstances. A week turnaround for a 50%+ gain is nothing to sneeze at, yet I could have made it 55%+ if I had waited 24 hours, maybe more if I waited 48 hours. Still, under normal circumstances based on my past behavior, I *wouldn't have sold any at all* and instead have watched it go up and down, gaining nothing. If people want to sell to me at these prices while they chase something else, I don't mind.

I have been a HIVE holder since the start and have powered up (from my perspective) large amounts over the years. In fact, since the fork over to the new Hive chain, it is around about 200K HIVE in total. I have bought more on exchanges too, which I am playing with, but I took a couple powerdowns in readiness, just in case. This was fortunate, as in order to use the pools to earn SPS, the increasing DEC prices hasmeant I have needed more and more to pair. I am lucky in this regard, as I don't have to use the SPS I earn to pair and can instead stake it, but I know many who are struggling to find enough to pair, since they don't have the spare HIVE. 

We are probably several weeks away from another large *HIVE drive,* but I feel more comfortable having some in my wallet and the ladders set, just in case I am wrong. If the price did happen to pump again this week for example, I would be quite happy to take a doubling on my buys, which would be significantly more than what I sold last week. At the end of the day though, the amounts that I am playing with, while significantly large, are not "end of the world" if I miss highs and lows with - however, I don't want to be "caught" with stable coins going into a bull market run, as *stables don't increase.* Of course, they don't decrease either, but this is the risk. 

It is also a week away from the release of Chaos Legion, which is going to completely change the dynamics of the Splinterlands economy from its current state. Because of the *slow emission* of the presale mechanics, this will be interesting to observe, as the dynamics of the stake for vouchers, SPS and DEC change. After when the packs can be opened there will be a lot of combining of cards, and cards will hit the market to sell and rent with very high scarcity and demand, but as time progresses and as millions of cards over the space of the next two months are released, the entire rental market transforms. I am really hoping I will get lucky and get a reward card or two, though nothing is guaranteed. 

This of course changes the value of the cards too, as Chaos Legion is likely to have decent buffs, but it is tempered by the burn values for older cards. This is also interesting as there will be a splitting of the ranked plays too, which will mean that new players who only get in with CL will be able to compete. This changes demand in several ways, as well as potentially puts more pressure on DEC.

I am struggling though, as currently, there are so many things going on that require time to consider and a lot of activity that it is another full-time job or more. I have always put my emphasis on the writing part of the equation as it brings personal satisfaction as well as earnings, but it is also difficult to ignore the draw of earning potential in a bull-market window. The thing is though, that bull markets don't last, which is why I continually keep burning the candle at both ends and in the middle to build the foundation that I am looking to use as my base for the future. 

While this seems a *stressful approach* for many people, I actually quite enjoy it as there is a clear "why" behind what I am doing - *at least in my head.* It took a lot of work to get off the ground when I was starting my business, but I am *far more* dedicated to a crypto future than that, as I see that not only is there the early adopter investment potential, but the future of business itself is tied to it. As a consultant that helps key people in organizations improve themselves for conditions and advises on business strategy, having an understanding of this industry from the perspective I do, has the potential to be very lucrative in and of itself.

This is the thing with building a new economy, as it is going to be attached to everything else, not just crypto and blockchain directly. There will be a huge demand for experienced people who are able to bridge both technological and knowledge gaps as the conversion to the new economy takes place. A lot of people seem to be focusing on the immediate conditions and the potential for financial gain, without considering the long-term ramifications of what they are doing. The "Why" is to build wealth, but not a lot of thought goes into what comes after that. As I am someone who plans to work my entire life, there is little point to being wealthy unless it enables me to do the things I consider valuable in regards to the work itself. I don't need an endless holiday, I need purpose I can sink my teeth *and my future wealth* into.

At least currently, I see what I am doing as an unlocking of the door to potential, with economic value being an extension of my physical and mental body. It is a tool like a hammer and I want to be able to build something useful and valuable with it. It isn't likely enough to change the world, but it might have an effect at the local level, especially if it is able to help people connect their own activities with the new economic capabilities, to introduce new possibilities into their worlds. All of the little things we do matter and they build up over time to become very big things. This is especially true for economic activity, as supply and demand direct the entire course of human future position. Hopefully, there will be more unlocking of a positive direction where we are all encouraged to improve our conditions.

Wealth is useless without its ability to do something with it, and what we do, matters.
