Held in the gloom of a solitary room, tears rolling down our cheeks. Wanting for more but never having enough, for what we need has already fallen. Thanks and I don't mind the critique. I had two to begin with, toyed with three, mashed it all together instead. It would be far easier to read with the breaks, which is probably why I made the decision. Too much cognitive load perhaps now! :D btw, I think that since the stroke, my more creative writing has changed, which is likely due to me no longer having that automatic imagination response - for me to see images in my head, I have to manually create them.

Bleak again. It seems your poetry resides in the darker regions of your imaginings. Not all of them though, but the two most recent. I love this line (not sure why) > stolen from beneath our still feet This poem, for me, speaks to the moments that never were, but could have been. Imaginings that never came to fruition seem to have been taken from us - we are robbed of things we never had. The poem is timeless, with notes both medieval and modern. Very good!!!
