Travelling opens your mind and brings joy into the life. I am like a digital nomad by travelling to customers or simply picking a location to go on a monthly base or so. I feel much more energetic when going places than when staying at home. It is like the sky is more crowded if I am not on the move.

Daydreaming may be good at times. I have realized that a lot of people daydream about things and they eventually take it seriously and make things happen

Wow, that really does sound like it would be an ideal situation. Assuming you are able to make it work out. Now that our dog is gone I think I would totally do something like that. I tend to check on with work and answer emails when I am on vacation anyway. Like you I grew up during that time where work life balance wasn't as big of a deal as it is today.

I don't think it hurts to do a little daydreaming, just a little. 

Sounds like you have an ideal situation. I was able to do something similar a few years ago for a week. It worked out well for me, but I was already a well versed remote worker.

Malta or Cyprus for decent internet on hotel wifi. Romania seaside for awesome internet everywhere. Bulgaria Black Sea also decent.

A good idea to take a couple of weeks into another warmer EU country in mid-winter. 

Smallsteps it will be educational, outside of main season might offer reasonably priced accommodation.

Hoping to get a chance to work outside. The benefits of working from home are many. Working nearest family and neighbors  then we can hang out with everyone

Wow, that is an awesome perk. I'm guessing it is fairly common for companies in your country since both you and your wife have it. Sure it will still cost money, but being able to go to different places while working is definitely a plus. You don't even need to use up vacation leaves for it. It's perfect for those that like to travel.

That's a mood but it could also be a lot to do with how I plan (basically either "will wing it in the general direction of an idea" or "everything is meticulously planned out including contingencies for anything I can imagine going wrong and some buffer for things that I missed", I'm not very good at in between stuff, and if anything has to fall in between that I will generally default to following someone else's lead if that's an option).

Having things waiting to be done in the house is also a mood.  The fun of living in an older house ay.

Sounds like a decision on whether you want a break/change from normal which sounds like it could be fun, or a holliday holiday without having to do the job as well.
