I felt that everyone was always in pain because of memories of the past!
Even if past memories are pleasant, they give rise to new sadness and pain.

In the past, like you, I always tried to escape the pain and sadness of the present while dreaming of a happy future!
I sense that you are currently worried and anxious about your family's future!

I believe that the only way to escape human pain and sorrow is to receive God's grace!

I always find joy in bowing down and surrendering before God!

What you wrote displays opposing emotions and points of view, highlighting both sides of human nature. 

The concept of wounds becoming wisdom scars indicates progress and strength. It promotes in us a sense of reflection and self-awareness on the decisions we make.

This part got me and started playing all kinds of scenarios, trying to figure out what you where attempting to bring across. 

> And as the world judged, you were the only free.

This in itself had me thinking of a world coming to an end. But who alone has the power to judge and what was so special about the one that stayed free…

I honestly got confused by the ending. As I was reading it I thought it was about changing for the better, growing up, learning from your mistakes, looking for a bright future. But near the end, "Me the trusted liar...", "...Omission of truth's delight", "...you were the only free".

I'm not sure what to make of this one. I can take it a number of ways. I first thought it was about two lovers breaking up at twilight, but that didn't last long.
The fifth and sixth stanzas had me concerned that you were going pontifical on me. NOOOO! So they I started reading by typeface, and I got a bit more of it to make sense. 

Let's call the italicized stanzas as a whole "The Watcher." It has an omnipotent ring to it, doesn't it? There's that pontification again. 

Then I put the regular font bits together, and I found downright biblical language. that ended with this

>I am the goodness, You the thrown down.
Me the trusted liar, You the outcast soul.
History will remember, the words that I will write.
Sunshine of my desire, omission of truth's delight.

Which somehow led me to this question:

>My goodness, should I fear gods of any kind? 

Did you intend for this to have biblical or religious parallels? 

This made me feel somewhat emotional 
Such a nice poem!

Such striking and reflective verses that they make you think in life and the afterlife, of an obsolete existence full of infused beliefs that finally sees the light of truth. 

Cosmic transcendence is the liberator of all worldly knowledge and belief dissipating before the eyes of a new awakening to an omniscient consciousness, a truth revealed with the beginning of an eternal sleep, For some tragic and terrifying. 

Excellent work and verses that make you think.
