My grandfather recently passed away and though I wasn't close to him it did send my mind to some similar places as this poem.

Dear @tarazkp !
How would you tell Smallsteps about your life?

I like how enigmatic this poem is, and how that leads to a kind of duality. It obviously beats around the themes of death, but in a way, it doesn't necessarily make life out to always be better. "A life despised, every moment with pain." It's the hurt of *not* dying.

The concentric circle of life Mr. Tarazkp, who is the only one capable of defeating death, giving eternal circularity to life. Death transcends us and somehow helps us overcome time.

There's a really great Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds "Death is not the end". I love the finality and inevitable ending you poem has.

That is where my limitations come into play, I can't understand poetry no matter how much I try 😀

The verse that stood out the most for me is *Meaning may be more, but it is all meaningless.*

I think we sometimes reach a point in our lives when we realize the futility of many of the things we're chasing don't really matter in the grand scheme of life. 

Death is inevitable, and it is something we all face. No matter how we live, whether we are kind or cruel, rich or struggling, it comes for everyone. It also doesn't matter about the race or colour. 

 The part i like most is where you made contrast different lives: one filled with love and joy, the other with pain and loneliness.

A good poem, but a bit dark. Over the years I have come to the idea that the end is different for all of us. And there is something else beyond the end.

"Escaping our fate*

I am not sure whether it is fate, but I couldn't change some things in my life till now, and I don't know whether I will be in the future. I call it *being lucky in life* though.
