Patience.

That building takes time... but it really feels like time well invested...

I have learnt a lot on hive ranging from financial literacy, to life lessons, to lifestyle, down to appreciating little things.

For me, the most important is consistency. Hive has taught me that consistency brings rewards to the table. Hive has taught me that the little things you do consistently can yield a lot. Hive had taught me how to read. Reading on hive has helped me change my way of thinking to a large extent. I have learnt how to value one cent and know that if I accumulate it, I can get something. Hive has made me believe in something

I've learned, or more likely reinforced that people are just people.  With a huge fraction of the population all it takes is a sit down and you realize that they are just like me.

There are, occasionally dickheads on Hive, but the system tends to be self correcting (except in the case of way early adopter whales) and even they seem to lose out after a time.  

I've learned that it doesn't matter where someone is from or how they look that's important-it's how they think that matters.  

I guess I've learned that Hive is just like the general population only better :)

Hive is still an investment for me and it can be grown passive or active.

But learning what Hive can provide to people and communities around the world is amazing!

Hearing that some people can live on Hive is amazing to witness!

Resilience. The block chains ability to bounce back. It just makes me realize that there are more roads than Theo never are all currently on in our own lives.

My first time investing in crypto I had a problem chasing the Shiny new coins all the time. That and falling in love with ideas and concepts and paying for it some of the time. This time around I will mostly be eating vegetables lol!!

I learned that my third grade OCD / ADD writing style sucks. That kinda turned me off to posting anything. Hey you asked... Lol

Just being honest with myself. (and you) But I am so glad the DV fleas are still on the that other dog.

HIVE (former STEEM) has been my platform for 4 years now. Its hard to say what I specifically learnt in those 4 years. But it has been a good way to connect with the world and it was in 2016/2017 I began looking into #flatearth , will say that it was mostly on youtube, but the blockchain helped me connect with for-instance @ironshield who is also a flat earther. I also connected with @zaxan who is graphic designer, @eonwarped who is programmer and @aggroed who is idea man and manager.

There where some dark times along the way, but in 2019 Hive-Engine created LASSECASH ( Www.lassecash.coM ) which was a huge turning point in my life.

My tribe LASSECASH means a lot to me, I work on it everyday and its all build on HIVE!

Hullo @tarazpk,i have learnt to be patient and persistance.
Most of us join hive with the belief of earning from it there and then which is not the case,but with patience and persistance we finally see that it has surely paid off.

With hive i have learnt to be patient and keep posting and in the end,i will it will pay off.

That learning process is intertwined with so many other learning processes that it is very hard to pinpoint exactly what I have learned from being in this community. 

Perhaps that I really, really like being part of a community of early adopters. I've always liked that but never properly appreciated the potential.

I think the most important this I learned from Hive is that, for me, it's an all in one community and that, if I truly apply myself, I could create something great on here from myself and for the community. 

That Hive if FAR better the traditional social media

That the people on here feel more real to me than on other medias

that we do not have to bow down to a single ruling body

to not only appreciate cryptos but to invest in them

and that despite a lack of engagement at times, I feel things I post are actually contributing to a community, not just adding noise.

This is the mindset we should have

From a technical point of view, I've learned how a blockchain works. This was through reading so many great how-to and technical posts by helpful Hive community members, and by hands-on tinkering building a number of little personal projects using the Hive API.

From a personal point of view, I've learned how important engagement is. I really struggle with this one, preferring to just quietly consume, curate and not say much, but it is clear how valuable engagement is to our Hive community and that active participation is almost a responsibility. From this lesson I have been challenging myself to slowly increase my participation and engagement levels. As someone who originally came here simply out of curiosity for the technical side if things, this has by far been the most important thing I've learned and the one that has pushed me furtherest from my comfort zone.
