What We Can Expect From Biden's Executive Order About Cryptocurrency

President Joe Biden is going to issue an Executive Order (EO) regatding cryptocurrency.  This is leading to a great deal of speculation about what will be in the order.

In this video I discuss how the powers of the Presidency, even with the EO, is rather limited.  Some are stating that this EO is likely to get the different agencies to look at ways of regulating cryptocurrency.  Also, it is likely to have a study conducted into a CBDC.  Both are these are likey pieces to what is set forth.

I think some of the bigger fears like crypto ban or outright regulation is not going to happen at this time.  We will have to see since it is all guesswork now but we can expect them to look to try and figure this out.

idk the war story drama can quickly allow presidents to do some rather harsh things to push their agenda faster than anything else. Look at the history.  I do hope your right though because crypto just isn't ready for that kind of regulation blow back to be honest. There's a great deal that still needs to be built and put in place first. Maybe this will speed those up.

It's an interesting take and I do agree that crypto is more than just a financial system. I have to agree because they can't ban crypto unless they shut down the internet and I doubt that would ever happen. If anything like that happened, then I expect a ton of people to start rioting.
