Ready player one is quite dystopian movie. There is no doubt future technology is going to be beyond enything we can imagine now, the more interesting thing is what sort of relarionship are we going to have with tech. I'm adraid another movie, Congress, might be some grim inspiration for many. 

As always technology is improving way too fast. I am so use to my smart phone that I can't think of not having one around me. And like you said, we already have holograms, VR and AR in works by the large tech companies. Games, Videos, Communication and everything will probably be different from what we are use to in 10 years.
