We have seen a major run in Bitcoin since the start of the year.  There is also the news of Facebook's latest endeavor, the Libra.  All this is getting cryptocurrency a lot of attention.

Personally, I believe that cryptocurrency is a large part of the Age of Abundance.  It is something the world was waiting for and, now, we are starting to see it spreading.

The situation that we are dealing with takes place on many different levels.  That said, I will delve into a couple of things I feel is important.

We all know how to look up tokens on coinmarketcap.com.  It has the total value of each currency along with the market cap of all cryptos.  This saw a significant rise of late, mostly due to the run up in Bitcoin.

There is another thing taking place that is very interesting.  On Steem, we see a lot of tokens being created that also could have value.  Many are not going to garner a lot of attention for a while, hence being excluded from the overall crypto marketcap.

@aggroed brought up a very valid point the other day in one of his posts.  He pointed out the fact that PAL has roughly a $3M marketcap.

While it is still early and we can expect some wild swings in the value of it, this is very interesting.  The amount is not significant, against the total numbers, but I think it valid to point out that $3M is not included in the amount people point to.

In other words, the totals could be higher than what is being cited.

Money is a powerful mechanism.  Under the scarcity model, there is a lot of emotion tied to it.  It also creates a great deal of privacy.  Many people are more comfortable telling you about their sex lives as compared to sharing how much money they make.  

There might be no greater thing that people have more fear around than the subject of money.  As I noted, the system we operate in is based upon scarcity.  It is so fundamental to our system that it enslaves billions.  Even though in the western countries find them on the edge of poverty.  The system is structured in such a way that, even if you do accumulate some money, there are ways to make it go away.  Inflation is obviously a tried and true method.

Cryptocurrency is often called sound money.  While it might not have value when issued, it is not debt.  Fiat currency is created through debt.  It is how it gets into circulation.  The "money" is lent out tied to an interest payment.  What most fail to see is that while the money is accounted for in the creation, the interest is not.  Hence, there is never enough money to pay back the principle along with the interest.  This is how the bankers end up accumulating assets.  They are well aware of what is taking place.

Fear is one of the weapons that is used against humanity.  This is something that has to be overcome if humanity is going to transition into the Age of Abundance.  The mindset people hold is what emerges in their reality.  Call it manifestation or whatever you want, the central premise is that those who are bound up by fear tend not to get too many positive results.  They allow the fear to make decisions which do not correlate to abundance or expansion.

Cryptocurrency will go a long way to fixing that.  Those who are here more than a year already see the results of it.  If one does not, he or she was not paying attention.  

Through one's activity, he or she is able to grow the Steem account.  This was professed by many and still holds true.  Each week, more accounts have a single SP than before.  I believe this tells us that more people are getting involved.  While the numbers are not huge, it is expansion.

We also see the aforementioned Steem-Engine which has tokens being created on there daily.  The fact that the PAL token is only a couple weeks old yet has a $3M marketcap shows how things can change quickly.  There are thousands of people collecting those tokens IN ADDITION to the SP/SBD they were already receiving.

Imagine another 10 communities with over a marketcap of over $1M.  That would most likely be another $12M-$15M in marketcap.  

Wealth being created out of thin air.

This is what the bankers always did.  The difference is that with crypto, it is the activity of the community that determines the value of it.  As communities grow and the Steem ecosystem expands, these numbers can get really insane.

The Age of Abundance is a message that I have been espousing for a couple of years.  I believe we are truly entering it now.  The Libra announcement aided in this process by providing the vehicle for education.  Many people are now looking at this industry as compared to before.  It added some legitimacy along with getting people interested.  This will ultimately filter through.

Consider the day when you do not have money problems.  And no, I am not talking about Lambos for everyone although many early adopters will be able to get those.  Instead, consider what life will be like when you have enough resources to provide for yourself and family.  To me, this is abundance.  When the majority (if not all people) have their basic needs met.

This is possible with what is being created here.  It is, of course, only a small piece of a much larger pie but it is a part of it.  That said, it is easier to adopt the mindset before it happens.  Many will wait until the abundance is in their wallet before they buy into it.  Sadly, this will only delay things.

The last couple months on Steem really tell a story.  Some of the developments really pushed this entire idea to the forefront.  There are trillions of tokens on their way to the Steem ecosystem.  Many will not have much value (or even be worthless).  There will be, however, some gems in there.  

I feel it is imperative to have the proper mindset around all of this.  Do not let fear creep in.  When being exposed to mainstream messages, realize that is all part of the system they created.  For the past year and a half, we heard how cryptocurrency was worthless and it was dead.  Bitcoin was going to zero after all.

Notice how that did not happen.

On here, many proclaimed STEEM was going to die.  The beginning of the month was the end for Steemit; remember that?  Since that time, we saw a couple interfaces created that are targeting different communities.  

Amazing how that happens: the message being delivered is reversed.

Steem is stronger now than it was on June 1, not weaker.

Abundance is on its way if you know where to look for it.  Put in the effort and keep checking your wallet(s).  Each month, they will keep growing if the activity is there.

If that is not inspiring enough, look at what happened since the first of the year and project out three years.  Can you imagine what this place will look like by then?
