The power grab is in full effect.  

What was strong before is now is hurricane force.  This global pandemic is just what the governments of the world and mega corporations needed.  We are embarking upon a power grab like never before.

Freedoms are going to be eradicated.  In many parts of the world, people are force to remain in their homes *under the threat of arrest*.  Individuals such as Bill Gates are drooling at the idea of a vaccine and making sure everyone is chipped.  This will tell the world whether one is up to date or not, kind of like a dog.

Of course, no vaccine, no job....or credit....or airline ticket....or driver's license.

And we thought that China's social credit system was bad.

Naturally, the mainstream media is a bunch of useful idiots in this endeavor.  They puppet the agenda without any thought of what is taking place.  Just wait until their advertising revenue drops through the floor and many of them are laid off.

This all leads to a censoring of information.  Science turned into a complete joke since anything that contradicts the agenda is muted.  We saw this a great deal over the last 20 years but the coronavirus showed it fully.  It went from a situation of "we have no idea what this is" to "we now know all there is to know and anything that contradicts what we tell you is garbage".

There are reports that the AMA and CDC are being bought and paid for.  Hospitals are getting huge sums of money for inflating reports of what is taking place.  Fear fills the air.

We are hearing rumblings of the idea of governments banning stablecoins.  After all, we know government hates competition.  The banks are starting to report their earnings and they are not good.  Something has to be done before power is lost.  The typical model to follow: eliminate all threats.

Last year, we saw the culling of accounts by Facebook and YouTube.  This was done with an agenda in mind.  It is easy to see how they are all a nice little package wrapped together to keep people silenced.

This is why something like Hive is vital.  It is an attack at all layers.

We can offer the ability to post whatever people want.  Voices are not silenced.  An application such as 3Speak is vital in this endeavor.

Controlled money means one's financial decisions can be "censored".  We already see this with credit cards companies and banks not supporting something that is deemed a "no-no".  The same way speech is controlled will apply to finances if people are not careful.

Cryptocurrency offers an alternative.  With HIVE, people are free to spend it wherever it is accepted.  Nobody can stop a transaction from taking place since it is truly peer-to-peer.  Sure, the centralized exchanges can be regulated and monitored, but that is only until decentralized exchanges start to rival them.  

Even Dan Larimer is getting into the action by having KYC requirements on Voice, the latest social media venture on EOS.  KYC for social media?  Is this how bad it is has gotten?

Perhaps Hive will excel where other fail simply because it looks to offer an option that is based upon freedom of individuals.  Flying under the radar does have its advantages.  It will allow for the setting up an economy which is separate from the establishment.  Bitcoin, Ethereum, and EOS are being watched.  Hive is not.

I noted the other day that Bitcoin came about as a result of the last financial collapse.  This time, the end result might be widespread crypto adoption.

People are going to be hurting for a long time.  This is something that is getting close to being beyond dispute.  The economic damage done already is going to hurt millions for years to come.  In short, there will be no coming back for many.

Providing a new system is vital.  Those who are able to get involved have a chance of offsetting what the present system is doing to them.  This is where Hive comes in.  Through the social media mechanism, we offer a number of ways for people to be rewarded.  Throughout the rest of the year, I expect the development to remain accelerated so that we see a great deal of progress in the entire ecosystem.  

This is crucial.  The power hungry are engaging in a full court press to assume more control.   With the mindset of the general population, it is not likely to be stopped.  

An alternate system has to stand in the wake of all this.

I believe Hive can be a major part of that system.
