Leofinance Linked In The Washington Post
The power of the community cannot be understated.  It is very difficult to get things going from scratch.  However, with each of us contributing on a daily basis, over time, things expand.  

Luck is often described as the result of hard work.  Sometimes, as a community, we can get very lucky.  This is what took place recently.

When it comes to driving traffic to **Leofinance**, there is no doubt back links are vital.  The more the search engines see Leofinance.io, the better.  Of course, just posting on worthless sites (according to the SEO rankings) doesn't accomplish a great deal.  It is when high quality sites in regards to the spiders have your links that things really start to change.

Could this be happening to Leofinance?

### Backlink From The Washington Post

There was an article about the hack of Axie Infinity for more than $600 million in the Washington Post.

For those who do not know, the Washington Post is a heavily read publication.  The Alexa ranking on this site is #331.  In comparison, Leofinance.io is place at #51,374.  That means this is a backlink that will help Leofinance.io.  Having links from sites that rank higher is a good thing.

As we progress through the story, we see this paragraph.

Notice what it links to.  It is a post on our very own Leofinance.  It is a post about the high cost of **Axie Infinity**.

I would surmise the reporter who wrote the article did a search and that likely came up.  This shows how having different keywords relating to specific ideas is important.  There was a push a while back to get content relating to both Splinterlands and Axie Infinity out there.  By getting some of it ranked, we can fall into a situation like this.

### Leofinance Is Business Building

We are watching a **Web 3.0** ecosystem in the making.  Leofinance is a community that is a combination of the users along with the development team.  The tentacles of the ecosystem are expanding outward, including a massive push into the Decentralized Finance world.  Here we are seeing what the team is calling Defi 2.0.

Leofinance.io is the flagship of the entire project.  While it seems overlooked at times, all is meant to ultimately drive value back here.  In the meantime, we are responsible for producing the content that can rank within search engines and put the links out there.  It is a role we all can play.

At the moment the team is doing a lot of promotion of the latest project, Polycub.  This is just another tentacles that is designed to reach out to a wider audience.  It also is very powerful to enhance the wealth of those who are on Leofinance.

As always, long-term focus is key.  Getting **SEO rankings** is not an overnight endeavor.  One of the keys is to have time that the site is running.  On this, there is no shortcut.  Also, we need to creating content that make the site more dynamic and diverse.  **Keyword ranking** in different categories is crucial.  This can only be done by producing articles that the search engines find appealing.

We all want the overnight success.  However, in business, it is often the slow and steady that win the race.  It takes time for things to filter out as they need to, especially online.  Having a back link from the Washington Post is crucial.  Perhaps a couple other sites will pick up the article.

Either way, we are seeing a lot happening with Leofinance.  As the development team is working on the different applications, the rest of us can contribute through out activity and marketing.  Posting links on different social media does help to drive some traffic.  That is one of the keys to getting improved rankings.

This is a game of attrition.  Collectively, we all just need to keep plugging along.  This is about building.

And by doing that, once in a while a bit of luck comes our way.

You know a project is most likely to succeed when it continues to develop and market itself. This is no rocket science. If there is any reason to be bullish about leofinance it is the fact that is intentional about its growth. The future really looks bright for the ecosystem. 

As regards SEO, I will make out time to write one decent and well-researched post one or twice a month. It is a lot harder than writing opinion pieces but it is worth it.
