Leofinance is a microcosm of Hive.  In this ecosystem, we are able to leverage the expertise of others for our own personal gain.  Here we see a completely new path as compared to what we are accustomed to.  Under the present system, we see access limited to only the select few.

We are all aware of the term "accredited investor".  This is a way the system shuts out the average person.  Yet, in cryptocurrency we are seeing an alternate to what all of us had to endure for so many years.

Basically, the power of the co-operative is at play.  Here we see the combining of the individual and the collective.  

The fact we can tap into the collective means that we are further ahead than we would be on our own.

### Cubfinance

It is no secret that I spend a great deal of time focusing upon my research on Hive.  This obviously leaves little time to delve out into other areas.  This is most likely the scenario for the majority of us.

Of course, there is an entire world out there.  The cryptocurrency ecosystem is expanding at a rapid pace.  We see a lot of applications forming which have incredible potential.  This is especially true in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) world.  We are watching the unfolding of a new system that is inclusive as opposed to exclusive.

Many chains are being set up to handle this type of activity primarily.  With the pace of innovation, it gets hard to keep track of things.  It was less than 2 years ago that DeFi was mostly theory.  Now, we are to the second generation as DeFi 2.0 is rolling out.

So what is one to do?

For me, it simply means letting others do the work.  There are people on Leofinance who pay attention to what is going on in this area.  Watching the weekly AMA tells us all we need to know.  The information that is passed on shows how a lot of effort and research went into what is taking place.

How does this benefit each of us?

The answer is simply in the fact we can own the CUB token and enjoy all the advancement that is taking place.  As we can see, there are different Kingdoms being erected based upon newer innovations within the industry.  This can be frustrating at time since it often means redeveloping certain aspects of the platform.

Nevertheless, as more innovation emerges, we are able to enjoy the benefits of it.  We are now a part of an expansive platform that is going to keep innovating for the profit of all involved.

Does that mean we will not see down times?  Of course not.  However, as many of you are aware by now, the long-game is where the focus needs to be.  If we are equating it to the development of the Internet, we are still in the mid-1990s.  This is even a long way from the emergence of social media.

Therefore, Cubfinance is one of the ways to leverage the knowledge of @khaleelkazi and others.

### SEED

This is a project that was put together by @empoderat.  It was something that people could buy into, getting the SEED token which is on Hive-Engine.  The idea is to have a fund that can offer long-term growth potential.

There are a lot of strategies that are used which are completely foreign to me.  That is alright since I do not need to understand fully what is going on.  That is the beauty of this platform.  We can leverage the expertise of others for personal gain.  Of course, everyone who is involved in this project is benefitting.

How much of a benefit is it?

That is an incredible return over a short period of time.  Expecting things to progress at that rate is unrealistic.  It does, however, provide a nice basis for large gains in the future.

The point is that many of us would not be able to pull these returns on our own.  Hence we get involved with a project where they are available to us.  This is reflected in the progress the first few months.

### The Entire Ecosystem

We find this concept is valid across the entire ecosystem.  There are thousands of people who operate on Hive daily.  They all have differing areas of expertise, something that can be tapped into by anyone.

Ultimately, it becomes a co-operative since everyone is on the same side.  We all want what is best for the growth and expansion of the system.  There might be differing opinions of how to get there but that is the ultimate end.

If that happens, we are going to see some crazy returns in many areas.  The collective wealth on Hive, at all levels, is growing exponentially.  There are many more projects generating fantastic returns for people (Splinterlands is an example).  This is providing people with resources that would not normally have.

Thus, if we are depending upon our own personal knowledge, we are missing out.  There is a wealth of expertise on here, something that we can tap into.  This allows for us to leverage it for personal gain.

Fortunately, when that happens, the entire platform wins.
