How are you my friends, I'm so thankful that I can still write, I got busy lately due to the online classes of my children and their modules.

It's October, and when November and December are approaching I always miss my mom especially this month and onward, it's maybe because due to our struggles before, I would feel empty and emotional. That is why I wrote this, to remember the love of my mom and now that I am already a mother I understand why mothers behave the way they used to.

     The time of conceiving
When we are in our mother's womb she takes care of us, she sees to it that she will eat a healthy meal, take vitamins, and carry us for 9 months. At that time she overcome the morning sickness, back pain, and emotional changes, she will see to it that no illness will affect her to protect us.

     Upon Labor
If you are a mother now you can relate to this, some women having their labor for a few days, and others it takes only hours. This is the time that both mother and child struggle, for some may live and some may die. But our mothers are strong, despite all the pain they felt on that day we were born it all fades when they see and hold us in their arms.

     Sleepless nights
Having less sleep is difficult to work, even you are a plain housewife and a working mother. There are times that you wake up and look at your baby if they are still breathing, you wake up to be sure that you didn't accidentally cross over your arms or legs to your child and see to it that the pillows are not suffocating your child. The time of our sleep could be 3 to 4 hours, we sometimes fell asleep at our dining table, in the bathroom, and at the office but still, we can perform them well.

     Sending them to school
We are much more excited than our children on their first day of school, we buy them colorful bags, lunch boxes, new hair clips, new dresses, new shoes, and others we want the best for them. Afterward, at school, some will cry and some don't want to come home lol. Sometimes we get emotional because they are no babies anymore, for some it's a tug of war game. But in the end, it's fulfilling to see them write their name.

      Doing their chores
As they grow mothers are always molded into us doing household chores. Teaching them to sweep the floor, water the plants and wash the dishes but sometimes we struggle to impose to them our house rules, they sometimes abide but mostly don't. We get mad but after we felt guilty, we comfort them and sometimes we are the ones to apologize. We don't want them to suffer or when we see them tired even a bit, that is why some of us mother's spoiled our children.

      Raising them as a teen
This could be a challenging part as a mother because it's not the mother alone we need to seek advice from our partner and we tend to be weak and light-hearted to our children. When they're scalded by their father, our children run to us and we comfort them and even for some time, they will answer us in a different manner. We tell them to choose their friends, don't engage in wrongdoings, avoid drugs and alcohol. We always look forward to seeing them come home without a scratch, and if something happened we tend to fight back for our kids.
     
    Knowing their boyfriend and girlfriend
Mothers are overprotective when it comes to the love life of their children, they always remind us to know the person well, they have a standard with whom we choose to have a relationship. Sometimes they have a Q and A portion (as I experienced), and they are very straightforward that sometimes scared our BF or GF. Mothers mostly choose for us that is why they are the worst enemy of the in-laws (but not all). 

    As a grandmother
This is what I observed, the love of our mother to us is twice the love they give to our children. It is nice to see that there are grand mother's who are still able to look for their grandchildren and some grandparents are always the savior of our children.

Being a mother is always a struggle, I read many stories about motherhood and it tells the same. My mother told me before and as I always heard from other mother's "you never know the struggles of a mother, not unless you too become a mother." Some also say that how to treat your mother whether it's good or bad, it's the same way your children will treat you. For all the mothers out there just always think that every day is Mother's Day we can cry, we can laugh and we can be angry for some time. Our children may live us but we can't live them no matter what path they take we are always their Mother.
