"To be clear, our ultimate goal is to reward mastery of the game and everyone's honest attempt to become a great player" Crystal clear water statement from the devs. Indeed the simplest illustration of what is Axie Infinity all about. If you want to be rewarded, prove yourself and claim it. Be responsible and never stop learning about this exciting game. After thinking for several days after the initial commotion. After balancing the pros and cons. Nevermind calling me selfish but i POSITIVELY SUPPORT this latest update. And as a player, i will tell you some of my opinions as to why i strongly agree. 1. With the current reward system, bots and mediocres can potentially earn SLP atleast 1 at PVP if they win by chance even by just throwing cards at the window. One SLP is rewarded for being a bot if the bot win by chance and that must hurt you as human. You must not be happy getting 1 SLP you will be labeled as "BOT" and that is just a clear insult. The devs decided this to help you improve and excel among the bots. It might hurt a little for going extra miles, like training and upgrading your teams. And it doesn't kill you if you use your brain cells just to improve and make a proper decision to win some games. Bots never think that way, they will just continue to destroy our economy as long as they are allowed to do so. They will always mint 80 SLP/day as the minimal earning. That 80 SLP/day will surely contribute the rise and dive of the price of SLP at the market. It is a big amount of money that is taken from us players who religiously play the game just to earn some bucks. 2. Managers and awful axies will be terminated. Managers will be urge to upgrade teams and even provide the necessary trainings for the scholars to excel. Theoretically speaking, all aspirints know how to play Axie Infinity by just watching some streams and tutorial but still there is a big difference to actual game. New plyers must be trained before sending them to the actual battlefield. The awful axies make our market as the biggest dumping sites. You know what i mean. And to stop the trend, this is necessary. This update will discouragy you from buying those products of greediness. Who will buy those Axie that cant reach 800+ mmr? They will just be used as energy booster rather. 3. Multi accounting will be prevented too. There is this saying that goes " You cannot serve two masters at the same time" indeed. How much more if you got more than 5 accounts. One main and the rest are farmers " SANA ALL". That level of greediness is CANCER to the society, need to be terminated. Overall those kinds of activies are directly hurting the economy and the quality of the society. The devs is just protecting us from the possibility of great danger. They are responsible enough that they dont want to be blamed at the end. They can actually sleep peacefully after making the Axie Infinity listed into the most anticipated P2E. But they choose to improve the experience of everyone while earning. The kind of devs with the eye defect, FAR SIGHTED. Into the future and infinity. We play as one, we earn as one. Axie Infinity ia the ONLY ONE!
