## English

As you all know, English is the most important language that brings us altogether. We all can understand each other on this platrom as we can speak a commong language which is English. Some people may have difficulties in learning this language and they may not know how to learn or improve their language skills. In this post, I am going to try to write my opinions and give you advice to help you learn and improve it more effectively. 

As some of you might already know, I am an English teacher who is working in Turkey. I have got lots of students whom I spend time with every day to help them achieve their targets in this global language. I hope, my recommendation about learning the language will help those who are struggling to improve their language skills. By the way, you should be aware that many of us are not native speakers so it is perfectly normal to make mistakes while using another language so don't be shy to express your feelings in English or other languages!

## Reading

I know that many people don't like reading. When I ask my students ıf they are reading anything, they usually say that they don't have time or they are not interested in reading. Reading is very important element to educate ourselves and improve our language skills. When we read texts in a language that we are learning, we have got opportunities to improve our language skills in many ways. 

During reading, we learn many new words and revise our grammar knowledge which helps us to make sentences in speaking easily. Don't forget that ıf you don't read anything, you can't have something to say. Human brain has the capability of copying the sentences when people read something so it enables us to use them later which helps you to speak!

## Listening

Listening is another key part of learning a language. The most important thing in learning a language is to be exposed to it. If you visit some touristic places in your country, you can easily observe that people can speak a few languages even though they are not much educated. It is same in Turkey. When you go to Antalya which is a great holiday destination, you can see that many workers can speak Russian more or less, because they are exposed to language.

Another great way to be exposed to language is listening and watching things in the language that you are planning to learn. You can easily learn the pronunciation of the words when you are listening or watching. It will surely help you to speak more confidently when you want to express yourself.

## Speaking

So, Reading and listening are important keys of learning. It is time to produce something by speaking that! Many people are shy to express themselves in a new language, because they feel that people may laugh at them or find their pronunciation funny. It is not important to make mistakes. You can improve your speaking skills only by going over your fear.

It can really helpful to find a friend online and talk to that person in the language you are learning. You can use the expressions and phrases that you learn. When you make mistakes, people who are better than in that language can correct them. This is what I do in my working place.
