It’s been days that I feel so burnt out and drained about my personal life and work. I feel so empty and exhausted about everything that surrounds me. My mental and emotional aspects have been affected, so even my health has worsened. I know within myself that there is something that I need to do to make myself better. So when my partner invited me to go for a ride, I said yes with no hesitation. We will go to one of our favorite rivers in Subic, Zambales, named **Pinaglabanan River.**  He packed all the food and things that we needed. He filled his motor with a full tank because we had to travel for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I feel excited and happy along the way because I finally got to refresh my mind with the beautiful nature again. But what makes me feel satisfied? That my partner never disappoints me in making me feel great and easing all the pain inside me. He never fails me to lighten up all my burdens, and I am just so grateful for having him because he knows what’s best for me.  After a long ride, finally, we get to our destination.  As I walk closer to the river, my mind starts to feel refreshed by its sounds, and the clear water helps my mind to feel more apparent and better.   We also invited my sister-in-law, her boyfriend, and our nephew to make our day happier. So first, we settled our things and food in the perfect spot that we found above the big rocks beside the river, and then we ate some snacks first to gain energy from our tiring but satisfying long ride.  Then finally, my partner and I swam in the river and grabbed the chance to take some photos for another great outdoor moment and experience.    He is my best partner and my best photographer all the time. He never missed a chance to take some photos of me, which makes me feel confident that he cherished all the moments in my life too. To make the moment more memorable, we took photos of ourselves too. These captured moments that we have are not just a photo for me, but a journey, a journey that I will always treasure because I have him in every chapter of my life, for good and bad days, he is always there with me, and he is always by my side as I open new chapters in my life.   We need to be extra careful because of the vital flow of the river. Because of the strong flow of the water, my partner decides to make a mini pool. He collected some big rocks and built a small circle for me to be more comfortable swimming and not be bothered by the vital flow of the river.     **Today, I just realized a good reminder: Sometimes, we need to flow like water. Sometimes the giant rocks may stand in my way, but water will always find a way to go through it.**  **We don’t need to feel stagnant for the things we are facing right now, there may be moments when we feel like drowning, but it’s just a way of life sometimes to teach us how to swim.**  **Be like water that flows constantly and flows confidently, that you will realize that there’s no such thing that stays for a lifetime, and all of our struggles will indeed flow until we overcome them.** --- **I appreciate the beauty of nature. It heals me emotionally and mentally. I just realized that we don’t need to have fancy things and fabulous expensive places to feel motivated and free ourselves from stress. All you have to do is spend your days with the natural beauty of nature with your loved ones, who will be there for you to help you boost your strengths and help you to feel better.** I appreciate nature as I appreciate my partner because, like nature, he never fails to make me realize the beauty of life and its significance. *I’m just so happy to have a great day with my loved ones on this beautiful river. > Today, I just realized a good reminder: Sometimes, we need to flow like water. Sometimes the giant rocks may stand in my way, but water will always find a way to go through it. Very nice quote Lyn! And it's quite inspirational as well. Water always finds a way to overcome any obstacle that is placed in its paths, if it can't pass through one way, it tries another. We can apply this concept to our lives as well; if we come across an obstacle on our way to achieving our goals, we shouldn't just give up but instead find a way to overcome that obstacle, we can try a different path to get to our goal 😊
