Lighting Network Micropayments i think will bring the speed that micropayments needs, it's coming fast!

just found this interesting frontend - https://yalls.org - and a bunch of reddit posts and links to test nets that are up and being tested for the lighting network, that stuff is happening (quite literally) so fast and development seems to have really picked up the pace -- i have the feeling that the true nature of unlocking bitcoin (especially for content micropayments) will really start to flow when this stuff is live.

i mean just look at the version of the cash app that's out from square, you can buy bitcoin direct in the application in a very simple interface, not confusing at all -- now that companies are supporting bitcoin in that level you know damn well people are going to start paying people or requesting money in crypto, i believe this will change the value economy of gig workers globally literally over night, just think of all the people who can now access finances because of crypto money it really does blow my mind.
