Latest Run (Week 2, Day 4 and 5)

It seems the string of surprises during my runs are still not over.  On day 3, there was the unexpected rain that suddenly poured without so much of a warning.  Then yesterday, day 4, my phone ran out of battery halfway thru my run.  I guess it shouldn't be surprising since it only had about 11% juice left when I started.  Still I thought that 11% would last the duration of the run. Obviously, I thought wrong.

So I only recorded half of my run yesterday.  I still diligently completed the program yesterday though.  How did I feel?  It was one of those bad runs unfortunately.  I immediately felt tired right on the first interval.   By the time my run ended, I felt really tired and out of breath.  My heartbeat was at 166 beats/min at the end of the run.  I think that can be attributed to poor pacing.  Encouraged by my previous results, I thought I can run a bit faster and it backfired on me. 

So today, I decided to take a break from my run and just do an easy one hour walk.  I wanted to at least reach 8,000 steps, but ended up only with 7,200 steps.  

Below is a recap of my runs so far.  I will try to be more disciplined again with pacing my run tomorrow and hope to have a better result.  Till then, have a great weekend ahead.

 - **Up till Day 2:** 3 sets of 5-minute jogs, followed by 3 sets of 5-minute walks (Total 40 mins, incl. warmup and cooldown)
