# This is possibly the biggest problem of Tesla

- Investors will undoubtedly know how Elon Musk held a particularly bizarre conference call a few weeks ago. Especially when asked how many pre-orders from the Model 3 are converted into effective orders, the CEO of Tesla reacted agitated. Now it becomes clear why: the conversion rate is possibly the biggest problem for Tesla.

- Recent news reports around Tesla are not good. For example, there are several accidents with Tesla's, with or without the automatic pilot. ## Wait 2 years for a Tesla
 
- Second Measure Research recently launched a report showing that in the month of April, 23% of the deposits were returned. The conversion from an advance to an effective payment is only 8%. The remaining 69% is still awaiting.

- According to the data, the number of applications is accelerating for a refund. Many people have ordered their Model 3 for 2 years with an advance of $ 1,000 and are still waiting for their car to this day. If Tesla does not speed up production quickly, there will be a further loss of the pipeline and Tesla will lose a lot of money.
