So recently I came across a wonderful project which promises to solve the everyday data storage challenges we face and I thought it wise to share because this project will definitely be of great benefit to all. The platform is called DIW (Digital Identification Wallet).since the introduction of the internet, data storage has become a very important part as individuals store their personal information on cloud services and database services. It’s been discovered that we create and store over 90% of the world’s data. With the increasing rate of data creation, there also came the need for passwords and some individuals tend to store everything in one place! Organizations also offer services which help to store data but due to the centralized nature of these organizations, they are prone to hackers, fraudsters, identity thieves, security breach etc. As I have earlier mentioned, this exceptional platform, DIW, created by a team of intellectuals aims to solve the above mentioned challenges we face with data storage. The DIW project is a decentralized identification infrastructure which utilizes block chain technology and smart contract enables its users to create their online identification profile providing the capability to store, access and exchange sensitive encrypted data. Using this project, individuals, institutions and organizations are sure of transparency, reliability, swiftness, consistency, security and of course anonymity. The project plans to develop its own hardware to ensure maximum security to its premium members. The DIW platform also plans to solve the issue of data storage in five phases: DIW global directory, secure digital vault, paid escrow, payment gateway for crypto and fiat currency and healthcare.
