By the time they are through with the project, you will find out that the software would end up being highly effective regardless of the region (the parts of the world) where it is being used. I am not saying that Commercial software are not highly functional as well. The fact that they are made to be sold make them exceptionally secure and reliable. But Open Source is out of their league.
