DClick is a Decentralized Application on STEEM blockchain that gives bloggers another medium of monetizing their contents aside from the usual upvotes by placing native ad links within their posts. With this, bloggers are given another means of earning in addition to the upvote earnings which bring STEEM and SBD (Steem Dollars) both of which are STEEM native currencies.

When a reader (be it a Steemian or Non-Steemian) clicks on a DClick ad link within your post, you are rewarded with DClick tokens which can be exchanged for SMT (once SMT is launched) or used to receive upvotes from DClick account. As well, producers also receive rewards while advertisers get to attract readers to their products or services at almost free of charge.

DClick’s main objective is to create a closer and better relationship between advertisers and content creators (publishers) compared to other ad serving networks. As soon as you have earned more than $2 DClick tokens, you can choose to use this earning to receive upvotes from DClick or keep the coins in your wallet so as to exchange for SMT later in the nearest future.

Now select your preferred language and paste the landing page of your content, product or services that you wish to advertise in the provided box. Provide the title and Description and select your preferred payment token (SBD or STEEM) alongside the budget for the ad campaign. After that, click on Start. As soon as you confirm the transfer, your ad campaign will start automatically in the background and you will receive DClick tokens. You can choose to increase your budget later on.

This aspect of DClick is purely for content creators. It bridges the gap between blogging and earning through the use of advert placement within the content. As stated earlier, Steemians now have a means of making additional income by placing ad links within their posts. DClick has an algorithm that checks for ads that are relevant to your content. Hence, you stand a chance of receiving lots of clicks and impressions (i.e. good Click Through Rate) from your readers as the links are in accordance with their interested topic, products or services. Also, the fact that your click does not need to come from Steemians alone give you another advantage which results in maximum earning.

**Advertisement**

You can as well advertise your products and services while acting as a content creator (publisher) on DClick. Being an advertiser on DClick comes with almost no charge. At the same time, you can deposit some tokens (STEEM or SBD) and use them to place advertisements about your own products and services. When you pay for ad placement on DClick, you are also rewarded with DClick tokens which in turn can be used again to receive upvotes from DClick account or exchanged for SMT (once it is launched).

**Delegation**

You can decide to lease Steem Power to DClick account. There are several benefits that come from doing that. These include a massive 30% weekly increase on your delegated Steem Power, 30% of the DClick tokens that are rewarded when DClick account upvotes contents (through your delegated Steem Power) and free advertisement of your recent posts on Steemit. Keep in mind that all these do not stop you from getting your delegated Steem Power back whenever you want.

There are several befits that come with using DClick. It brings unique functions that separate it from other DApps on STEEM. Using DClick to monetize blog content is not limited to Steemit. WordPress users can also monetize their blog using DClick alongside other ad-serving schemes. They just need a Steem account and SteemPress plugin which connects WordPress blog with Steemit, thereby giving bloggers the ability to attract different audience simultaneously. However, compared to AdBank, an advertisement platform built on Ethereum, DClick is attracts limited audience.

@bitcoinflood, I am glad to see you drop your review on DClick as you have used it for a while in the past. However, it has evolved from that. @dclick now has more delegated SP and their upvotes are pretty better. I think you need to try to use it again and see how it is at the moment.
