I stumbled upon a video earlier today where a presidential candidate was interviewed and one of the questions he was asked was what he thought about people accusing him of being stingy and not a big spender. I've been following this presidential candidate for a while and really wanted to hear his response on this but I was already quite positive that he was called stingy because people in the government who felt entitled to public funds couldn't get access to any funds as he was so efficient and both finance and resource management.

Before going deep into the conversation,  if like to clearly state that being stingy is the act of not being generous and one can only be generous with their own funds and not public funds. Public funds are meant for public wellness and for a country with huge debts struggling with crashing economy, every single person has to put on their hat of being efficient at managing money and resources.

I'm not a political maniac or anything of sort, but one thing I know for sure is that any country without leaders that can manage resources and finances will definitely suffer sooner or later.  We've seen it happening so many times especially in the previous and current tenure where people in power allocate crazy funds for things with no significance and this is just another way for those in power to direct public funds into their own pockets. Unfortunately,  this has been happening for decades and is a thing now, a reason why people (particularly those in power) aren't cool with the presidential candidate in the interview who doesn't spend public funds lavishly, who spends according to urgent needs of the masses and finds cheap, efficient alternative solutions for expensive and luxurious options. 

Over the years, I've also observed "stingy" is a word used by people who feel entitled to a person's or group of people's wealth or funds. I've never heard a hardworking person trying to make his own money say such statements and this shows just the kind of people who most of trust with power. Unfortunately, corruption is deeply rooted into the system and not many people like the fact that this candidate isn't a wasteful person especially since his behaviour won't favor their goals.
