Every person involved in crypto would have experienced the strong emotions that comes with the crazy decrease in price of a token or crypto. This is one of the most critical stages in the life of every person who's invested in cryptos and the decisions made during this time could either ease the emotions or make them worse.

 It's not a very easy watching your money dwindle right before your eyes and it could get to a stage where we can't take it no more and decide to opt for a safer option which is to sell. Selling however isn't a bad thing, but I sometimes look at it from the angle of accepting defeat especially when the prices recover really fast.

A couples hours ago, I watched the Splinterlands token have a decreases in price of  over -45%, I was suprised to see how massive the decrease in price was, but wasn't shocked and I didn't tremble. It's price got back up really quick in a few hours and that's that. This happens countless times with projects like Hive, Bitcoin, Eth and most recently Polycub.

The key to surviving the emotions that comes with a plunging price and making a better decision is to take a break and ask yourself, "why exactly are you involved with this project in the first place?". If your answer falls in the range of that this is a solid project and you wanna be here for a long time, then a plunge in price is good news. 

This simply gives the holders an opportunity to increase their holdings which I consider the most important thing when it comes to hodling. If a tokens price keeps increasing, I tend to be a bit unhappy that I'm missing out on acquiring more of that token at a low price.

I've watched Polycub's price drop really hard in the past few weeks but honestly that doesn't bother me. I'm at a stage where I keep buying more Cub and Polycub with any free money I can lay my hands on. As I see it, Polycub is nothing but a project filled with opportunities and securities and it's just a matter of time before many of us lose the opportunity of having to buy when it's cheaper. 

I've been able to keep cool in the face of a plunging price by having a long term mindset for every project I'm involved in and this has been helpful so far.
