Where Did All The MemeCoins Go?
Out of curiousity, I decided to check on a buddy who invested big time in a couple memecoins last year to know how he was doing and how he was managing his portfolio. Just as I was about texting him, I realised that it has infact been a long time since I heard anyone talk about any memecoin, I mean besides  Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. It felt like they no longer exist or have all gone on some sort of vacation . So when we finally talked, I had no choice but to poke him where I thought would hurt the most by asking, "Where are all the memecoins now?" Lol

Gladly, he had dumped most of the memecoins he acquired at the beginning of the year and was thankful he did so even though he wasn't sure the bull run was over. We just reminisced on how memecoins were literally everywhere last year and how it felt like anyone not having some memecoins wasn't taking cryptos seriously. I remember the " Inu and Doge Pandemic " when there were more Inu and Doge memecoins than the entire cryptos listed on Binance and Bittrex combined, and how people were wishing their memecoin would do the next ×1000. What a time!!!

Sadly, the problem with memecoins and most shitcoins is that they're the most affected in every bear market because the only reason people bought / invested in them was because of the gains the could bring, nothing more.  Some crash to oblivion and like dry bones, they will never resurrect again.. and some may just suprise you by pumping really hard when the world thought they were dead. 

Generally, memecoins and shitcoins are mostly popular in the bull market when everything pumps and some people prefer riding them for the gains that could be made. But that's it, the average life span of most of these projects is just about 2-3 years as most of them remain failed projects by the next bull market.

I'm pretty sure they'll be back, can't wait to see the next big  wave of memecoin and what they character will be the most popular one amongst them.

Yeah, sadly, most cryptos will lose their value at eventually.  Currently estimated at around 99% of all cryptos, that's quite scary

That is why I don't invest in them because they are just shitcoin and it is better to buy for fun than buying to invest

It's all about time and season. With the market bearish, they're all bound to go into hiding. I believe there time will come again, till then it's about investing into more stable crypto projects
