I wish that I could smash myself open like a priceless vase

In a cold empty foyer

Break brittle on the Italian marble

& expose my contents in an artful grandiose [Heavy Metal] breakdown

The spread of ash could read like the leaves in your teacup

& I should have seen it coming

But I fucked up

Nothing balances well on a pedestal
