I saw a few animals on my way to my Aunts house too! Saw a Sage Grouse on the snow prairie, also saw a bald eagle flying! I love when I see animals. The deer came as dusk was approaching. Yes many animals come out at dusk it's true. It enhanced the day. Getting through this period between Christmas and New Years haha. After New Years I will be house sitting my own place for awhile. That's awesome. I saw a whole family of deer when I was going to work the other day. They were standing by the side of the road in a little patch of trees. It's really nice to see.

Deer are becoming more and more comfortable with suburban living. They realized that there are few predators in suburbs and have learned to avoid cars. I've encountered several on my daily walk. They clearly know that cars stay on streets and that people are just annoying. I hear that in some places the herds are growing in size and becoming a nuisance.
