Everybody knows the word “logic”. All of us (a dustman and a professor) use it in our everyday speech. Children know it and use it for making their speech more meaningful. We are all sure, that people understand us when we are speaking about “logical outcome of the case”, “logical suggestion” or even about “women’s logic”.
>Всем нам знакомо слово «логика». Его используют в своей повседневной речи все – от дворника до профессора. Его знают дети и используют для придания своим словам значимости. Все мы уверены, что нас поймут, когда мы будем говорить о «логичном исходе дел», «логичном предположении» и даже о «женской логике».

What do we mean when we use this term? We mean logical is correct. It implies the fact that logic is a science about rules. It is not far from the truth. Logic is the science devoted to thinking, to correct thinking.

You may suggest that I am going to tell about these rules and laws in this article?
No, they are well studied and written about by ancient Greeks and you can find lots of information on this topic easily. I propose to look at logic as at the most paradoxical and illogical science.

Нет, это хорошо изучено и описано еще древними греками, и вы без труда сможете найти море информации по этой теме. Я предлагаю взглянуть на логику, как на самую парадоксальную и нелогичную науку.

How can two true statements give a wrong conclusion?
>Как могут два верных суждения дать ошибочный вывод?

Or have a look at this one (a little more complicated): speed is distance divided to time. Everything is logical (correct) by now. Distance is measured in meters/kilometers, time is measured in hours/minutes. Both meters and hours are discrete quantities, i.e. having the beginning and the end, non-integral, fractional. And now we can see a paradox! Both time and space are continuous quantities, they have no beginning neither end….How can we measure infinity with the help of finite quantities? So, what can we see at the junctions of their parts? Maybe, the entrance to the parallel world?
>Или вот еще (чуть сложнее): скорость – это расстояние, деленное на время. Пока все логично (правильно). Расстояние мы измеряем в метрах/километрах, а время в часах/минутах. И метры и часы – величины дискретные, т.е. имеющие начало и конец, прерывающиеся, дробные. И вот тут возникает парадокс! Время, как и пространство – величины непрерывные, у них нет ни начала, ни конца… Как же мы можем измерить бесконечность конечными величинами? И что будет на стыках их частей? Вход в параллельный мир, быть может?

The cause of this paradox is the fact that logic is based on person’s thinking. Person’s life is finite – it starts at definite moment and it ends at some one. We do not know other variants. Our brain, as an organ producing thoughts, sooner or later will stop its existence. And we perceive the world around us as ourselves, having the beginning and the end.
>Причиной этого парадокса является то, что логика основана на мышлении человека. А человеческая жизнь конечна – она в определенный момент начинается и в какой-то момент заканчивается. Мы не знаем иного. Наш мозг как орган, производящий мысли, рано или поздно прекратит свое существование. И окружающий мир мы воспринимаем, как и себя – имеющим начало и конец.

Here goes one more example. The phrase is familiar to those who studied Russian language ;)

So, what do we have now? And what about this rule? Does it also have exceptions? Thus, not every rule has them? It is so easy (with the help of power of thought) to turn the sense of the statement on its ear.

Вот так легко (силой мысли) можно перевернуть суть рассуждения с ног на голову.

The cause of such paradox appearance is the invalidity of binary logic. Do not be scared. It sounds complicated, but actually it is really simple. Two categories: truth and false. Let’s remember flow charts we created at our computer science lessons. All further actions in them are dependent on the truth of the condition. Can you see how easily we can confuse well-defined algorithm? And we have computer programs created on this logic. ;)
>Причиной возникновения этого парадокса является ошибочность двоичной логики. Не пугайтесь, звучит сложно, но на самом деле все крайне просто. Две категории – истина и ложь. Вспомните блок-схемы, которые вы строили на уроках информатики.В них дальнейшие действия зависят от истинности условия. 
Видите, как легко можно сбить с толку четкий алгоритм? А ведь на этой логике построены компьютерные программы. ;)

Have a look at steemit-paradox: let’s choose two participants of the platform. The articles of the first get 800$, the second gets 0,08$. Who of them is more brilliant? Possible answers: both, the first, the second, none.
Do not try to figure out the probability. It will be equal for all variants. The paradox is hidden in the very question. The thing is, the post price has nothing to deal with brilliance. ;)

Не пытайтесь подсчитать вероятность, она будет равной для всех вариантов. Парадокс кроется в самом вопросе. Дело в том, что цена за пост не имеет никакого отношения к гениальности. ;)

How come, the strictest of the sciences allows so many mistakes?
You see, logic is an abstract science. Our thinking is not measured, its action mechanism is not fixed, and thought appearance is not studied. It implies that logic is absolute theory with no facts, experiments and process observations. All we have is analysis of the existing thinking results, i.e. speculations. In particular, the gap between the theory and practice of actual thinking lets out the vast number of paradoxes.
>Как же так получилось, что самая строгая из наук допускает столько ошибок?
Дело в том, что логика – наука абстрактная. Наше мышление не измерено, не зафиксирован механизм его действия, не изучено рождение мысли. То есть логика – это теория в чистом виде, без фактов, опытов и наблюдений за процессом. Все, что есть, – анализ имеющихся результатов мышления – умозаключений.Именно отрыв теории от практики реального мышления и открывает дверь огромному количеству парадоксов.
