After the **pumpkin designs** (which were my favorites) I elaborated more baskets with **shape of ghosts, candies and "Frankensteins".**
And although the process is the same, here you will find different additives to the design of the first part of this little sequel.

👻 Como siempre, el primer paso es dibujar el diseño que queremos recrear, o ubicar un vector de nuestro agrado y **dibujar un patron de papel;** después, **transferir la silueta del papel 2 veces** a la cartulina de nuestra preferencia (recomiendo cartón de piñata o carton de reciclaje).

> 🍬 As always, the first step is to draw the design we want to recreate, or locate a vector of our liking and **draw a paper pattern;** then, **transfer the paper silhouette 2 times** to the cardboard of our preference (I recommend piñata cardboard or recycled cardboard).

👻 Luego, construiremos el cuerpo de la cesta con una **tira de cartulina de entre 10 y 12 centímetros de ancho,** del largo necesario para llegar justo por encima de los bracitos del fantasma; y aunque con pegamento escolar sera suficiente, **recomiendo colocar 2 grapas** en cada terminación de los lados de la cartulina.

> 🍬 Then, we will build the body of the basket with a **strip of cardboard between 10 and 12 centimeters wide,** long enough to reach just above the little arms of the ghost; and although school glue will be enough, **I recommend placing 2 staples** at each end of the sides of the cardboard.

👻 Siempre recomiendo **permitir que las piezas descansen** en este punto porque el pegamento escolar contiene mucha agua y es importante esperar a que evapore, o al menos fragüe.

> 🍬 I always recommend **allowing the pieces to rest** at this point because school glue contains a lot of water and it is important to wait for it to evaporate, or at least set.

👻 Para este bonito resultado, en el [post anterior puedes verlo más detalladamente paso a paso](https://peakd.com/hive-189641/@tesmoforia/181123-diy-step-by-step-tutorial) donde siempre lo primero es forrar la espalda de la canasta con papel crepe, luego el frente, y después cubrir los laterales con papelillo (de grueso no superior a 2 o 2.5 centímetros).

👻 En el caso de estas cestas quise hacerlas ver más festivas con unos **pompones de papel de pétalos puntiagudos y de diferentes colores:** _Estos se elaboran cortando cuadrados de papel de distintos colores, de 8 x 8 centímetros, sujetas su centro, y arrugar todos sus lados hacia la dirección opuesta, luego las pegas en un circulo de carton pequeño, y cuando todo este seco correctamente, pegas en los laterales de los fantasmas._

> 🍬 In the case of these baskets, I wanted to make them look more festive with some **paper pompoms with pointed petals and different colors:** These are made by cutting squares of paper of different colors, 8 x 8 centimeters, hold their center, and crumple all their sides in the opposite direction, then glue them on a small cardboard circle, and when everything is dry properly, glue on the sides of the ghosts.

👻 **Otras combinaciones de colores quedan muy bien,** aquí quise hacer un contraste entre el cuerpo del fantasma y "el limo" que chorrea de su cabeza. Quise intentar algo diferente a la sangre, para no asustar a los niños pequeños que quisieran un fantasmita menos sangriento.

> 🍬 **Other color combinations look great,** here I wanted to make a contrast between the ghost's body and the "slime" dripping from his head. I wanted to try something other than blood, so as not to scare little children who might want a less gory ghost.

👻 **¡Una combinación más atrevida de colores saturados también queda espectacular!.** Para ésta un borde amarillo solido es bastante acorde, **incluso puedes omitir los pompones si no te gustan.**

👻 Como se aprecia en los gif, estas cestas son de dimensiones engañosas. **¿Por qué?,** porque aunque su "cara sea pequeña", el ancho de 10 a 12 centímetros le da bastante profundidad y capacidad para cargar suficientes dulces. **Aunque a gusto de cada quien las medidas pueden ser duplicadas sin problema.**

> 🍬 As you can see in the gifs, these baskets are deceptively small. **Why?** Because although its "face is small", the width of 10 to 12 centimeters gives it enough depth and capacity to carry enough candy. **Although the measurements can be duplicated without any problem, to suit everyone's taste.**

👻 Y si eres detallista, notarás que éstas cestas a diferencia de sus hermanas mayores (las cestas de calabaza) sí cuentan con una cobertura interna. Yo utilice un papel reciclado de sobres de archivo nuevos que estaban en desuso. **Realmente es un detalle que eleva la pieza y la hace ver mas limpia y agradable.**

> 🍬 And if you're a stickler for detail, you'll notice that these baskets unlike their big sisters (the pumpkin baskets) do have an inner liner. I used recycled paper from new, unused archival envelopes. **It really is a detail that elevates the piece and makes it look cleaner and nicer.**
