Workers - The Engine room of any business
I have sat down and wonder while on earth will somebody put in all his effort into ensuring that your business hit apex only for him to be paid peanut. Truth be told, only few CEO treats their workers very serious. During the time of my industrial training, I was serving under a company called Levante. That was the first time I worked under the company. I was really happy working under them and along the line I saw how workers are being treated. This really got me pissed up and I became really sad. CEO's have forgotten that it is the good work that the workers put on that brought the business to the limelight that they are enjoying today.

Levante is a very big construction company in my country but they over labour workers and nobody is confident to speak forth. If you want to see your business doing well in the nearest future, you should learn to treat workers as if they are humans. The funniest thing is that little things can win the heart of those workers. I remembe some years back when my dad told me a story about a firm that folds up. The story is so funny but it is an advise to others so they don't fall into such category.

My dad said that there is this CEO who always treat his workers badly. He thinks he is the reason his business was doing well. He is into eatery business. At the start of his business, the business was moving so fast. Just after three (3) months of starting the business, he is now very great. The business has grown so big, he decided to open more branches. He did and the growth keeps pumping up. This was really amazing. As at that time in his city, his business was the best among all the eateries. When he started humbly, all his workers pledge allegiance to support him with their pure heart which they were doing. After having more than 3 branches in his state, he is now seeing himself as the best -pride sets in.

He started misbehaving towards workers and treating them as if they are not humans. One unfaithful day, all the workers team up together and gang against him. Those cooking the food begin to add poor ingredient to it and those in charge of customers starting attending to them rudely. In no time, the business begins to fall down and the CEO was wondering what was happening. He traced to the root of the problem and he found out what the workers were doing. Before he discovered this, it is already too late as the business has lost over 90% of it customers. There is nothing the CEO can do other than to blame himself. Just like the popular saying, it is too late when the head is cut off. If you read the story above, you will know that the back bone of every business is your workers. If you treat them well, your business will hit apex in no due time.

As the CEO of your company, you should cave out a way that you will use in rewarding your customers. Some of the ways are as follows;

* Reward best performing worker: Every week, month or year, you should try to set up a day to reward workers for the job they have done. Reward them for their performance and this will trigger others that are not working to seat up tight.

* Don't place them under supervision: Some CEO places their workers under this category and this type of act kills business fastly. They should feel free to do whatsoever that they like, this will see them introducing different thing that might boost the business growth.

* Surprise them: Apart from weekly, monthly and yearly gift, sometimes surprise them without them asking. For instance, you can walk into your company and pick up a worker that you know is impacting the business massively and gift him something valuable.

* Salary: This is one aspect that motivates workers to always want to give in their best. If their salary is meaningful they will want to put in their best in whatsoever thing that they are doing. So it is advisable you give them a good pay and this will help to see them giving their best.

If you are a CEO of a company or you planning on becoming a CEO, don't allow pride to draw you into the act of maltreating your workers, you will regret it at the end. Treat your workers with a good heart and see yourself thrilling at the long run.
