Thanks for taking the time to provide these great points about writing. I find that it is best for me to start several different stories at the same time and to continue to work on each as the inspiration hits me. This means that I always have several being written at any one time. My boyfriend taught me this strategy and he makes a living as a writer. It is not for everyone because many people simply get lost, but it works well for me. 

In terms of writing the different sections out of order, I find it depends on the type of writing I do. If it is just a short series of thoughts, going in order is helpful for me, but if it is  along article, yes I can even start wit the last paragraph first.
