Why Is There No Easy Way To Delegate SP?

I want to delegate most of my SP to my other account as it is a project I want to start putting more time and energy into, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I've tried SteemConnect, but that was no help. I don't want to power down and transfer everything over to the other account either because I'm not abandoning this account, just going on hiatus. 

Anyway, if anyone can help me figure this out, that would be wonderful.

Well I know you mentioned SteemConnect was no help but that seems weird to me, nowadays most users use this service to delegate. Here, try this link by replacing the needed parts with the correct information (delegatee and amount):
https://steemconnect.com/sign/delegateVestingShares?delegatee=DELEGATEE&vesting_shares=AMOUNT%20SP

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong, but SteemConnect just isn't working for me. When I go to the website it just asks me to sign up, there's no log in button, when I managed to get to my dashboard it's empty save for two sections dealing with apps and app development.

Anyway, that ghetto ass workaround of changing the details of that link worked, so thank you very much.

Weird. As for the dashboard, it's supposed to only show those two sections. For generating links such as the delegation one, you have to go there https://steemconnect.com/sign

I have no clue why it isn't accessible from the dashboard though, I'm not even sure it is accessible from anywhere on the website... Anyway, I'm glad the link worked !

There are several easy ways... One of is the Steem-plus extension.  I usually install it, use it and uninstall it.  I love the features, but it slows down my browser.

Thanks, but by easy way I mean, why do we have to use external sites like steemconnect, or browser extensions like the one you suggested, or whatever other workarounds there are? Why can't there just be a little delegate option in the SP dropdown menu?
