**Thank you @the-future for this place of bare emotions. It's a really great idea.**
First I want to send my love to the three authors mentioned me here for my writing skills. Thank you @sumsum, thank you @schamangerbert and thank you @jaki01. Writing has been the initial reason why I am here. Steemit is the only place in the whole world, where people are waiting for my next text. I never had such great readers like here in Steemit and love them all for knowing me by my writings. @englishtchrivy is a very lovely lady too. She doesn't speak German but she is reading my stuff with the help of this fuzzy Google translator. Of course, this language–monster is scaring her a lot. It's not my fault!

I have to mention @knozaki2015 and all the amicable members of the German Guild. Thank you all for your patience and support. You guided me very gently when I came in here like a bull in a china shop. You guarded me as I felt into disgrace of a whale and prevented my escape from Steemit.

I have to mention @dirkzett for his cool writings about a farmers life in Germany. He is so cool that he doesn't notice he is transporting deep emotions with his stories. I love his stuff very much.

Does anybody know what happened with @shla-rafia? He is a great member of the community, a smooth operator and the Steem's lively ambassador in the coffeeshops and hostels of Amsterdam. He disappeared since14 days and I'm surely not the only one missing him.

Last but not least I want to mention @ned and his whole whale–school for keeping the tiny German community alive. Thank you very much for this great support. Nobody is forcing you to do this. It is just a great attitude.

Phew, come on let's stop here because I can't mention all the lovely people I've met here in Steemit. It is the very best community I ever have been part of. After my family of course.

There are really a lot! I would mention @dwinblood. Once I was in difficult situation and he didn't stay indifferent and spent much time to help me. I am also fond of @everlove for her art journeys and I have two friends here @ace108 who always leaves comments to my posts and @jsantana who upvotes my posts  from the very beginning. I love to read @thecryptofiend. His posts are always very good. I like @papa-pepper as he is really an outstanding person. @aksinya thanks for the mention and I'm glad my encouragement kept you here. I think you create some incredible work here on Steemit.

Aside from @aksinya, some of my favorites include:
* @kevinwong who connected with me through my subcultures series. I ejnjoy his creativity and sense of humor. In some ways the soft spoken presenter at Steemfest doesn't do justice to who I've come t learn about.
* @liberosist for following me all the way at the start and supporting my obscure niche writing. Seriously a great person to get to know outside of Steemit.
* @donkeypong for both supporting my writing and some of the larger community as well (through Curie). I sometimes see his contributions as very necessary and undervalued.
* @luzcypher with his awesome permaculture articles, great articles about his own experiences in the music industry and overall awesome attitude. It's such a privelege to have him in the Steemit community.
* @firepower whom I connected with almost accidentally over common deeper dive experiences into the strange. Be well my friend.
* @pfunk the man some love to hate. I appreciate the work he does as a witness and his dogged pursuit of keeping plagiarism off the platform. It's a necessary evil and a thankless job.
* @timcliff for being the gold standard for what we should expect from a witness. I may not always agree with his arguments or point of view, but there has never been a question about his sincerity and desire to come from a place of what's best for the community.

As much as I may passionately disagree with some of the community, I feel it is the community more than anything which keeps bringing me back.

I may disagree with the methods employed by @abit and @smooth oer the past week, but I cannot deny aside from the angst it created, it also increased the perceived value of STEEM Power. In the end, while I don't have any real dealings with either of them I want to say thanks to both of them.

Great idea for a post to engage the community.
Yes what a difficult question you pose.
I would have to mention a few
@thecrytpofiend because he not only makes consistently high quality posts but he is an outstanding representatve for the Steemit community. Always polite and engaging. In my country of Norway we call such people "pillars of the community"
@hilarski whom I think is a great Steemian asset. Always positive and honest. Someone I see that if I knew in real life I could depend on them.
@denmarkguy whom I believe is an incredible engaging member of the community. I see his comments everywhere and they are always thoughtful and insightful. He always takes time to reply.
I honestly do not know how he gets the time to write his own blog but I am very glad he does. A great addition to Steemit in my view.
A more recent member I like is @sumsum. Her integrity and her poetry are really beautiful and moving. She is one of those people who shine without themselves knowing that they shine and thus bring a light into the world that enlightens us without us really understanding why. Such is the success of Steemit that it can attract such people
@dreemit because she was the first to welcome me on Steemit and encouraged me to write.
@donkeypong because although he is a whale he does not act like he has the power of a whale.
He is what we call in Norway "jord nær" - which means genuine and down to earth. An excellent thing to be said of any person in these modern times. It would be a great loss to Steemit if he left.
There are many more but these are the ones that first came to mind.

My favorite@the-ego-is-you and @papa-pepper He's friendly, down to earth, someone you can call your friend. I admire these person. They will give you teach you what you have to learned or give you advises when you need. They will help you if you need help evwn if you're new here on steemit or not. (theres a lot of kind person here on steemit, theres a lot of people with a big heart) but these two people are the one who helped me alot when i need help. God bless us all!

Really appreciated one of the comments stating they appreciated the positive posters.....agree and from that perspective....one of the best and a Steemit favourite is @englishtchrivy.  Her contribution of beautiful photography, detailed information on various subjects and hosting of the Steemit Cooking Challenge all express her  dedication to Steemit , however it is her encouragement of others in the comment section here, there and everywhere that puts her in the rank of Stemmit's Favourites.  Thank you @englishtchrivy.

Another favourite is @meesterboom...who is keen to notice when the troops require rallying...steps in as only @meesterboom can and gives Steemit a boost with a boom.  His posts are inspiring tutorials with lovely photographs and a bit of Scottish brogue.....not forgetting there is a poet in him that from time to time renders Steemians speechless.  Thank you @meesterboom.

I have to say that @kus-knee is my favorite too because he has given us so many interesting, well researched and well written posts on such a wide variety of topics. He formats them in ways that are  pleasing to the eye, and if he can he will add humor, and if he can't, he always injects good will towards all in his accounts.

Wow, this is tough... there is a LOT of great talent here, so picking just *one* is all but impossible... so I'll give a shoutout to a few favorites.

Perhaps @kus-knee gets to be at the top of the list for his ability to consistently create high quality, unusual and engaging content, while also being highly supportive of the community at large. Also like @arthuradamson who's not only a great contributor, but also an outstanding artist. There's @dwinblood who's incredibly able at bringing the voice of reason and insight to often heated discussions; @mynameisbrian whose cartoons are not only funny, but offer some incisive commentary on our community and the human condition; @surfermarly who always seems able to offer some inspirational-- and interesting-- insights with great positivity.

Although not as active as he once was, @krnel's writings on consciousness and the psychology of existence were among the first content I read on Steemit, and that made me hopeful of making a blogging home here. Mentions also to @budgetbucketlist, whose travel journals are truly fascinating and engaging; @timcliff whose straightforward style had helped me understand what a "witness" actually is and does; @hilarski and @stephenkendal who between them have given me a lot better understanding of cryptocurrencies.

Last but not least, to @cosmictriage who happens to be my lovely and talented wife who joined Steemit just a few days ago. You don't know her yet, but you probably will-- she's an amazing writer on many topics of esoterica, the supernatural and beyond, and at one time was on CNN's list of "10 most noteworthy bloggers" in the US.

Interesting Question. Well I usually do not like to name just 1 favourite, since any of us have their qualities.

For instance in real live I have a great variety of different people as friends, from more or less traditional thinking, to very super modern thinking, from hippies to capitalist thinking. All of them have their qualities; All of them I'm able to be entertained and comfortable with; All of them I can learn from;  Therefore All of them make me a better person. The same applies to you people here on Steemit.

But long story short, since you asked to single out 1 person to be my most favourite Steemer, it must be @mammasitta. She got me involved in Steemit; And because of Steemit; I'm now blogging (for the first time in my life); My interests in Cryptos was awakened; I got in Crypto trading; I may go into Crypto mining as well. Soooo, yes special place for @mammasitta.

O tough call. It's funny because I feel like I know a lot of users here just by seeing and reading their interactions with the platform (or with each other) while I'm not always interacting with them. (I'm getting better at this, I tend to be on the sidelines but more and more I feel the need to interact with others and it's great fun and fulfilling).

I enjoy users that have a positive outlook on life or write/blog about their life or things that interest me or that are just plain funny.

Awesome idea creating this article @the-future. It really paid off financially for you and for us by creating a much needed wave of positivity. I wouldn't say that I love all opinions here on Steemit but I definitely love the community as a whole (Yes, including all the anti-vaccination and pro-Trump weirdos ;-) ). However, I would like to mention some special people as well:

* @jaki01 and @kobold-djawa for convincing me to join Steemit. At first, I was very skeptical about Steemit but this lovely couple managed to convince me that Steemit isn't based on a pyramid scheme. @jaki01 writes awesome articles about many topics covering chemistry, biology, chess and science in general. He is very smart and a very good friend. @kobold-djawa is also a very good friend, a good singer (check out her karaoke videos here on Steemit!) and a true genius when it comes to Indonesian cuisine. Thank you for all the good discussions and the nice food.
* @justtryme90 for being such a good science author and for writing so many high-quality articles. Also, thank you very much for being part of the SteemSTEM writing contest jury and for caring so much about the science field. Without you, Steemit would definitively be much less scientific.
* @lemouth for being such a good chatting partner and awesome science author. He is another member of the SteemSTEM community and has always been very helpful and caring about the science community as a whole.

Hello, @the-future like many others I'm not sure how well I can do on favorite, but I can list you some, 

* @fisteganos because he and I kind of started out together and he finds interesting stories as well as many insights on the human conundrum :D 
* @jedau for the awesome stories that read like a comic book novel(@stellabelle maybe throw an eyeball :) )
* @ballinconscious even if he is not as active, he was a great support and I love the conversations I've had with all three of the above.

Honorary mentions go to @kus-knee for boosting my account out of dust status when I had forgotten to post after I joined for 3 months when I was still learning all the ropes :) @dragosroua for his nicely timed challenge that got me posting, @krnel for the great articles that I have vowed to myself to read through(something I rarely do vow that is) last but of course not least @surfermarly because she is just awesome and we can all agree to that, @creatr also surfs so he passes the cut, :D:D:D lordvader, dan, ned, .. abit :) snowflake (even though I can't watch him right now :| )furion (SteemQ) I'm not going to name everybody most have been tagged already :D most of the people who have posted comments and half of who they have posted :D I'm not one that does well on favorites, I'd probably make bad business, here take my money :D

First I have to say that there are so many users which I experienced to be very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable, very creative and intelligent that whoever I name now I forget a lot of others whom I like a lot, too.
Nevertheless lets make a "little" list (you wrote one is "allowed" to name quite a few, right?):
- @afrog: very friendly guy with great writing skills who always is enthusiastic to solve my chess problems.
- @aishwarya: nice paintings and travel reports; very friendly person.
- @chrissysworld and @homeartpictures: because of their pictures of course. :)
- @hagbardceline: a very good friend living in my city. That he creates brilliant articles is out of question (he won the "Second SteemSTEM Writing Competition" for example).
- @jumaidafajar: very thoughtful, intelligent person, who always tries to find consensuses and make friendship possible between people of different cultures, religions, point of views ...
- @justtryme90: unbelievable how many high quality science articles within short periods he is writing. I wish him much luck to build a little science community within steemit.
- @kobold-djawa: my lovely wife ...
- @liliana.duarte: very friendly person. I share her interests for biology, ecology and protection of environment.
- @tangmo: very friendly and always commenting articles in a nice way: that's what our community needs!
- @thecryptofiend: he is one of the most supportive people I have met here, and in addition a very friendly and thoughtful person. Unbelievable how many high quality articles he is "producing".

Aside from the relatives and real life friends I brought here, I would have to say @stellabelle.

We both started at about the same time and by reading her early posts I discovered what Steemit could be.  Leah posts from the heart on many varied topics.  She has been very forthcoming about her life, with its ups and downs.  She has imagination and creativity enough for 20 people.

She is a shape shifter who reinvents herself on a regular basis.  She is crazy to just the right degree and in just the right way.  She knows herself, and evaluates and listens to her self, so she channels her passions in a productive manor.

@stellabelle has always been kind to me, and to many others.  Whenever I think of steemit, I will always also think of @stellabelle.

You have really made me think! I love and appreciate a lot of Steemers for a lot of different reasons. 

 @the-future you have kept the vibes so positive and appreciative!

He helped me when I first signed on here as well. I can't tell the quality of his character but I can see his passion for Steemit. 

Most of my posts are geared to what I'm going through right now. My husband and I moved from Oregon to Oklahoma to help my daughter through a divorce and subsequent custody battle for her two children, 6-12 years old, back in 2015.

You can imagine moving two house, moved our little amount of house stuff twice but my daughter's house was huge. My husband and I practice minimalism.  The kids were having a hard time, everyone was upset plus we all were living together and moving to another house together. My 6 year old Grandaughter called it the year of anger. 

Things have settled down but we are still in court one year later, very stressful but I can see light at the end of this tunnel and everything is super good.

My blog reflects what I've been doing since 2015, cooking, cleaning, caring for stressed people. My coping behavior is painting and I paint for my grandkids as well. Stuff that we can work on together. Art brings people together and relieves stress.

So follow me if you like stuff about kids, gardening, cooking, and art! I follow you too🙏

Btw: congratulations on making one of the most evenly engaging posts I've ever seen on steemit. Normally, when I make a post that earns me some actual money ($20-30), it'll have hundreds of upvotes but only, say, 15-45 views and a handful of comments. What you've made here is an incentive for people to actually read and comment. It's interesting... I'll be considering this for the future.

I met too many interesting and nice people here, it's very difficult to choose just one of them. Ok, I'll do. As you, I really appreciate @oneupoatime for his generosity, for the positive spirit that he put up in his content and in the comments, in addition his name remind me to the tales that my mom used to tell me when I was a child, cool! I'm still really new to this platform, so it's hard to say who I like the most.  I have been reading a lot of different posts.  But right now, I would have to vote for a new user who had a fantastic intro - the best one that I have seen.  She was open, honest and entertaining.  Her name is @lalithamonisha. well i have quite a few favorites on here for sure, so to name one is very hard.  But I will say when i think of steemit there is one particular name that pops out to me as a huge positive force on the platform and that would probly be @papa-pepper  .  Its my thought many will agree with that.  but i have huge love for @verbal-d who is incredibly encouraging and motivated to a lot of positive vibe content @apolymask who showed me the platform @luzcypher who runs the open mic which is a huge service to the platform .   @giftedgaia @winstonwolf @sykochica for not only there incredible person content but there steemit talk podcast which is a fantastic way of bringing the platform content together in a nice conversational setting.   @tfeldman and @jaybird are users I find myself enjoying quite alot, with informative posts and also some great musical inspiration.   @craig-grat does some awesomely entertaining and informative video rants and @rossenpavlov is always very supportive to not only great content but informative post of his own that I just love.   I could go on and on here so its really hard to just pick one, im becoming aware that this is turning into a novel.   ;)  maybe i should make my own post in tribute to this post, yourself and the many others that inspire me on here.

it's a really good idea. Just give the Steem to @mynameisbrian for me......I think more focus on how people add value to our lives is a very good thing. Maybe a big change is coming.....i think psychologically, we all might feel freer, and less serious. Dan is a very serious person who I think never liked comics. That's my gut feeling...

Mostly I would say : everyone because most of the posts inspire me in some way. I could never name just ONE. I will name a few first there is @uwelang because without him I would not be here. He introduced me to steemit and he always helpes me out when I have questions. Then there is @felixxx. The one who can always explain all the technical stuff so easily. Then of course @afrog for being very engaging and a great storyteller and @mars9 for always commenting on my poems. I love @inber for her illustrations @arthuradamson for his awesome blog and his cat and I love @jankasparec for his art is paradise. 

I could go on and on. Steemit is great.

I love your dedication to this platform, @the-future. 
You should have been named by all of us :) 

To mention one more: @creatr. Surfer souls need to stick together :) But not only for that reason. I posted some chapters of my book here, which were originally written in German (so I translated them into English and then published them in my steemit blog). Not being a native, obviously my English wasn´t perfect. But then @creatr offered himself as a *beta reader* in order to correct language errors, typos, etc. His aim: he liked the story and wanted it to be perfect from a formal point of view, too. 
His generosity left me speechless! 

These little acts of giving are actually the ones that made me fall in love with this platform...:) I am hardly trying to give some of it back every day.

He got me running again and inspired me to try to run a marathon.
My health and well being has been forever altered by this decision. 
I'm no longer constantly in pain. I'm running further and faster than I ever thought possible.

Hi,

It is not the money valued here.  The freedom to say what your feel like without any authority or bureaucracy to govern you.  I believe we all human beings are unique. Difficult to just name only a few -  thanks for that post @the-future - like people spreading positivity but are also up for a discussion - some I want to mention @steevc - he is interacting with almost any new joiners he is the reason I returned to steemit 10 weeks ago!

@twinner - German whale, always helpful, rock star, dance and beer addict, one of the few I met in real life;
@shaka - a German that is always helpful even you ask stupid questions;
@hilarski - the ideal CMO here as I mentioned already;
@kus-knee - mentioned already - experience combined with humour and heart!
@hanshotfirst - great writer and once of the nicest guys here;
 We have a small but **nice German gang** that is really supportive and interactive - thanks to all of them - all kind of favourite users too.
