 Welcome to the weekend everyone! I love my Saturdays, as I usually take it pretty easy for most of the day, and today is no exception. I may do a little yard work, and I have already hit a few garage/yard sales that were close by looking for good deals. Sadly, they were all a bust, not good items to buy for resale. Sometimes I find some nice LEGO sets or other interesting items. I have found silver coins on a few occasions. It's those finds that keep me motivated to check out sales each Saturday! Moving on to the crypto world... Bitcoin has pulled back from the new all time high this week in an expected correction. The good news is that there seems to be strong support above $115,000, making a new push to a new all time high very probable in the very near future. I still believe that $150,000 is coming and will likely happen before the end of the year. All in all, BTC is a great place to have some money parked!  Interestingly, the Hive chart for the past week looks very similar to the BTC chart. The highs may not have been as high, but it is holding strong above $0.24. It is still nowhere near the $0.40 to $0.60 range that we had not all that long ago. Maybe as BTC makes moves towards $150,000 it well drag Hive up with it. ETH is up 40% over the last month, XRP is up 58%, and Hive is only up 20%. So we are lagging behinds some of the other alts. But to be honest, I'll take a gain of 20% over the opposite any day of the week.  Charts from coingecko.com, BTC and HIVE over the last seven days This past week the US approved the genius act to try to regulate stable coins, and ensure that they are backed by actual dollars. Also there was a bill preventing the central bank in the US from producing their own stable cryptocurrency which could be trackable. It's a scary thing to have the government produce and electronic currency that they can use to track people and how they spend. It's just a matter of time until they decide where you can spend your money. It would be another giant loss of freedom. Next up is my Saturday Savers portion of the post, this is where I analyze my weekly progress toward my goals in Hive Power and second layer tokens. I haven't found any new projects that I'm really exited about this week, but I'm always on the prowl. If you have a project you are excited about please feel free to tell me about it, I would love hear from you!  ## **Hive Power** This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP. I'm getting so close I can almost taste it! The light at the end of the tunnel is very bright. Current HP: 9,622 (96.2% complete) Goal HP: 10,000 I increased my HP by 175 this week, I'm finally back on track! This past week I posted all but one day, so next week my earnings should be pretty good as well. I have 380 more HP to go to hit my goal for this year, so time for the math. If I earn at least 140 HP per week I should be there in two to three weeks. I may speed things up by buying some more Hive, I just can't wait to get this goal completed!  Once I pass that 10K mark, then I will have to think about the next goal... But I have to pass the finish line first.  ## **Completed Goals so far in 2025** **PIMP** My secondary goal of the year. It's a great token that is backed by both BTC and physical silver. I'm slowly heading for 100K! PIMP: 57,275 (114% complete) Goal: 50,000 The past few weeks I've been putting more of my earned PIMP into the THGaming/PIMP liquidity pool that's paying out around 38%. The earnings there really aren't too bad. **LEO** I finished this goal up some time back, and I'm glad I did before the prices surged on LEO. I will continue to earn on my posting and keep it towards power up days, but don't have plans to purchase more LEO at this time. LEO: 5,336 (106.7% complete) Goal: 5,000 I have noticed a sharp decrease in LEO earned from posting, and stake based curations appear to have gone away as well. InLeo premium seems to be the only way to get curations now, and I no longer have it as I was losing money on the service. **PIZZA** This was nice to finish up. I get 15 tips a day to use as a bonus and occasionally a curation as well! PIZZA: 1,600 (106.67% complete) Goal: 1,500 **DUO** DUO: 2,058 (102.9% complete) Gol: 2,000 I expect to pick up much more DUO in the coming six months, I picked up quite a few this past week. The next section will get you more info on DUO, it a great token to invest in!  ## **DUO** Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day. For those who stake 500 or more you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well. The more DUO you stake, the higher your daily dividends. My current holdings: 2,058 Goal completed as seen above! We are preparing to launch our onboarding campaign in Venezuela shortly, growing Hive with new members who remain active is at the heart of DUO. It's going to be exciting, hopefully we get a great response and we will keep you posted. The token is backed by actual Hive which is important. It offers daily liquid Hive dividends once you hold more than ten. It also gives you the ability to tip and receive curations on your quality posts as well. This is a growing project and more PAKX is produced only as there are at least two Hive to back one new PAKX. In the future the number of Hive backing each one will increase. I am currently delegating to @pakx to earn more tokens daily, it's slow growth but that's OK with me! I will likely be increasing my delegation to increase my earnings in the coming weeks. To reach my goal I will need to buy more tokens but haven't found any good prices lately. I'll be keeping my eyes open to try and catch some good deals. Goal: 100 Currently held: 66.649 (66.6% complete)  ## **EDSI** I have made a big strategy shift here, I'm delegating 2500 HP the @eds-vote . I made this move to maximize my rewards, plus it pays out some EDS tokens as well so my stack will continue to build. I should make this goal much more easily now! EDSI: 157.7 (78.9% complete) Goal: 200 I'm making slow and steady progress towards 200, I may have to buy a few before the end of the year to achieve this goal. Plus, EDSI pays out liquid Hive dividends weekly which is always welcome.  ## **CCD** I have over 500K CCD staked and am slowly increasing that number. For holding the 500K I can claim two free HSBI every week which is a nice perk. Those with one million staked can claim a free HSBI daily, I do plan to get there little by little. I did pick up 10K more tokens this week at a good price. Also those who hold 100K can claim a free HSBI every month. I do delegate HP to @cryptocompany to earn free CCD tokens as well. CCD currently held: 542,000 (54.2% complete) Goal: 1,000,000 @powerpaul who runs the @cryptocompany is putting together a new tool that looks really nice, it's called FLEXNet. It will allow users access to some powerful tools to manage their accounts and create as well. I can't give out details yet as I'm sworn to secrecy, but it looks awesome!  ## **Precious Metals** I have been interested in precious metals since I was very young and have been collecting ever since. Investing in the precious metals markets is looking more exciting week by week. As there is so much turmoil and uncertainty in the world more and more people are flocking to the the precious metals for security. With the threat of World War 3 looming this trend is very likely to continue. There are also shortages of several metals currently making them even more expensive. **Platinum** Platinum is up over $500 per Troy ounce this year. This has come from shortages in supply of the metal that won't be resolved quickly. It's not only used in jewelry but also industry and is a key component of the catalytic converter in petroleum powered vehicles. There was a bit of a correction in price this week, but the overall outlook is bullish from a price stand point. I don't own much platinum but will be looking to pick some up when I find some good deals!  **Silver** Silver is poised to hit $40 per Troy ounce in the very near future, and possibly even $50 by the end of the year. Just a couple years ago it was only $16 per Troy ounce. I still think it's a good investment even at the current prices. I have been investing in silver since I was very young, and I won't be stopping any time soon! Silver over the last five days:  **Gold** Another metal poised to reach higher highs this year is gold. By the end of the year it will likely hit $4,000 per Troy ounce. It's hard to believe only about 25 years ago you could pick it up for $700 to $900 per Troy ounce... It may not have had a big a gain as BTC, but it will always have value and has been a safe haven in bad economic times for thousands of years. This week has been a little up and down, but I think $3,500 is coming very, very soon.  Charts from kitco.com **Rhodium** One precious metal that is overlooked far too often is rhodium. There is very little of it produced in platinum mines, mainly in Russia and South Africa. It is also a key component in catalytic converters. Just a few years ago it was almost $30,000 per Troy ounce. Over the last year it has been making slow but steady gains and may be getting poised for another run up to the stars. Keep an eye on this metal, you can make a fortune when it goes on a run up towards $30K. Pakx receives HP through Delegation. On top of this, it earns HP as curation rewards. Half of the curation rewards are distributed to people daily, based on their Delegations, in the form of Pakx tokens. Each Pakx generated is backed by at least 2+ value in HP. No Pakx can be created without locking more than twice its value in HP. This HP is then delegated to HivePakistan to generate liquid HIVE daily. Out of the generated HIVE, 50% is given as dividends to Pakx holders (note: the Pakx token cannot be staked), and the remaining 50% is used to power up again, fueling future dividends. Pakx is printed at a fixed rate based on HP earned from delegations, where for every 2 HP earned from delegation, 1 Pakx comes into existence.
