It's actually very simple so I am surprised I didn't realize this sooner. The 7 day limit doesn't actually mean anything at all. The only thing that is relevant is that the content creator posts regularly.

Simple, if someone likes your older content all they need to do is find your latest post and upvote that instead. When this occurred to me I realized that with a little more thought it wouldn't be super hard to automate the voting system a bit more effectively to infinitely extend the time you can make money from your previous posts.

We might even be able to setup an upvote button people can place in their posts that automatically does this for us.

You redirect your upvote. If you already upvoted the latest post then it goes to the next latest post. If you already upvoted every available post then you can have it wait in a queue to do the upvote. Bonus points if the user can see how many upvotes are queued.

This will likely encourage a person to make low effort posts in order to accumulate those queued upvotes but ultimately that's not really a bad thing. This encourages people to remain active which is really a good thing.

Just imagine seeing this.

"You have 8 more upvotes waiting to be applied to your next post. Estimated to be worth X USD."
