The Art of Breeding and Showing II
Nobody can guarantee an outcome for sure and it is down to probability and luck when cats are being bred. Breeders will learn to love and value their prized kittens no matter the outcome and achieving a new batch of feline friends is only the beginning. Breeders will continue their efforts to strive for the very best show cat material in the coming months and years. To achieve some of the most healthy and aesthetic cats boils down to the lifestyle being provided to a cat. A healthy cat will naturally appear appealing in the eyes of the observer.

Achieving show quality cats are not down to award winning parents, they are a combination of genetics and breeder care. Providing the necessary diet and lifestyle so the cat may grow stress free into a fine specimen is part of the goal. Giving care, attention and regular health checks are all essential in building up to a show standard cat. As the kitten develops into a young adult, the coat and body form will begin to mature and take shape with a great shine. Consistent grooming will also play a crucial role in achieving a show ready cat.
