# Very Not Appreciated... What's Happening with Steemit Images?
Phishing attempts have popped up like crazy, and on known Steemers as well.

My Machine Perhaps??

# I Seem To Get Them Only From AVATAR Images
Is there any way to modify images on the image server?

What was the attempt exactly that they tried to do? It seems like there are A LOT of bad people on here attempting to phish so we all need to be on high alert.

# BitDefender Went Off
and started claiming about 20 phishing attempts from images, right after I connected to Steemit last night. Nothing this morning. Very weird. All seems normal now.

# I Quit Using Steemit and Microsoft Crap
I only do updates using linux now.

# Steemit.com Has an Image Server
and when you upload an image I know there is some processing going on, because using the same image creates the same link when it's uploaded again.

**Is the system messed up and someone is downloading, modifying and re-uploading images, having them show up with the same link??**
