# <center>What is Holy Bread</center>

Holy Bread is a browser based RPG game based on Steem that provides players with the opportunity to choose between a mage, archer and warrior as their starting class. You can then start learning the game by doing a variety of things like completing quests, facing  others in the arena and more.

Gold will be the main in game currency which is used for upgrading your characters stats, buying gear and making your character stronger. The bread is used for a variety of other things as a premium currency, obtainable by daily quest completion or buying some to help you move quicker into becoming stronger.

# <center>The hero page</center>

When you go under your hero page you are met with your heroes avatar, your equipment you have equipped, your stats including the + - for adjusting stats when upgrading with gold, plus hovering over each stat tells you what it does including calculating the damage or defence it provides. You are also able to see spare equipment you have where you are able to equip them if they are for your heroes class.

# <center>Quests offered</center>

Upon going to the quest page you will be able to ask for a roll of 3 quests to choose from after each quest is completed. The quests have 3 different times until they will complete and allow for another to be undertaken. You will see them going for either 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes and when you carry out the quest, you lose energy based on the amount of minutes that one will go for.

Upon completion of the quest you chose, it will need you to loot what rewards were offered for it which some can occasionally include a gear piece to either be equipped if for your class and needed, or to sell to the item store for gold or to the market for Steem if someone else buys it. See how one of my quests got me an item reward, that one I managed to sell on the market pretty easily for some Steem.

# <center>Selling on the market</center>

You can sell items on the market through going to the item in your inventory, hovering over and clicking on the name. Once you click to put it on the market and then set your price it will show up for others to see and hopefully buy. Other items sold by players will show as well with filters available to look for specific items.

When selling an item on the market, you will see a pop-up to indicate which item was sold, how much steem was paid and the person buying the item.

# <center>Arena</center>

Fighting in the arena is the best way to earn breadcrumbs (a token on Steem Engine) which is based on your rank, as to how much you get every 15 minutes. The first distribution starts in just over 10 hours from the time of this post. But you will have 4 opponents to choose from for your fights, with the one of the right generally being a lower rank than yours, while the other 3 are higher ranks and you can steal their ranking spot on the leaderboards.

You will be able to see stats about your opponent to better determine who you are wanting to face, to get the best results and possible chances of a win and rank increase. then fights are automatic, with the ability to skip to the end result if you are not wanting to watch how it goes.

# <center>Rankings leaderboard</center>

The rankings leaderboard is where like all leaderboards, you can see your rank which includes how many breadcrumbs your rank gives, your hero level and the amount of heroes you you and the same with everyone else. If you want to find a specific player, just search for their name and see their rank and the rest.

# <center>Item store for buying items</center>

Finally I will share the item store with you. This is where you can spend gold to purchase items for your hero and power them up with more stats and keep looking daily for any nice deals. Every 24 hours it will refresh with the initial lot of items appearing with the free refresh you get to use. Items are a great way to make sure your heroes are fighting in the arena with ferocity, power and cunning as you slay all foes in your path.

# <center>Thoughts on the game</center>

Overall with the game just being released for play, I find it to be done quite well for a browser game, with a lot of opportunity for much more growth over time.

It is free to play with the ability to make Steem both from selling items on the market and selling breadcrumbs on Steem Engine, plus we can't forget that 50% of what HolyBread makes, will be used for buying back breadcrumbs in order to provide players with Steem rewards just for playing and having fun.

You could easily spend hours with the game open, but not need to give too much attention as it will automatically do arena battles and quests and you could do it while playing another game, if you want.
