# Tower deaths after successfully clearing Fortress Wellwatch

With a sigh of relief and happy to have gotten through some of Wellwatch's deadly trials with success, Octharg wandered around with caution, expecting something to come out at him. He headed down a path and around to a new spot in which he was met with something expected to come...
***"Damn Goldenforst Matriarch, I know this is your area of inhabitance but you shouldn't just attack on sight"*** he said while it started to attack every chance it got.
Luckily it was not a hard fight because the Fire Elemental, along with the Life Absorption meant its health dropped with ease while Octharg's elemental would take the hits.
It was time to hit up one of the main parts, Fortress Wellwatch. The Marauders inside were quick to get the damage out and managed to defeat Octharg once because he was not quick enough to kill them first off.
***"Your power is not enough to defeat all of us, puny pest. Eat this sword and come back when you are ready!"*** shouted one of the Marauders as he lunged and damaged him greatly.
Our mighty villain had gotten back up the stairs a little to do some more damage yet it just wasn't enough this time around.
Upon coming back with a new strategy for dealing with these annoying Vagrants, a determined and clever Octharg the Destroyer shows why you do a hit and run, casting a spell and moving back to have the Fire Elemental become more of the focus and to again, ensure enemies were getting weakened and killed off the right way and so the summons can always do their job.
***"You are a dangerous elemental and I am happy to have you on my side!"*** he announced as they finished off the last enemy in sight.
***"Look at this beautiful sight down this corridor. Amazing after that hard killing, though I hear noises just up ahead and to the side... better be careful."***
He knew that his job was not completed yet as there is rarely only one group of enemies in a bigger place like any Fortress, it was time to investigate after a moment more of enjoying the sights. To no surprise the noises he heard were from Marauders and a Wild Mage in which the fight was one sided thanks to hiding amongst the things about the corridor, but getting that Marauder taken care of quickly.
Dead silence had come over this place now. But back near the entrance was a ladder, one that should take him to the top and see what is in the final bit of this place.
At the top was something unexpected... Death and more death due to Kartis and some bandits, mainly from Kartis doing so much damage and trying different movements and avoiding damage while using current spells, that was not working this time around. Many deaths were had and it was frustrating Octharg.
***"This bastard is pissing me off now and I need to try once more before changing my strategy"*** he thought to himself before heading up and dying once more.
Finally the new strategy would be a good one, it would be to use a whole lot of potions to beef him up, making it easier to take and do damage without dying. Then it would be onto summoning the battleaxe as it has some great damage output and the focus would still be to move about so Kartis gets distracted and take some damage, before he moved to take the others out first.
This was so successful that Kartis ended up getting knocked off the side of the tower, falling to his death on the rocks below and making for the cleanup to be a quick one and for the loot to be grabbed right after.
***"Well will you look at that. Turns out it was well worth coming back and getting to a victory, because hitting level 22 is maybe halfway or close to halfway, of what I want to achieve before I can hopefully show everyone who the real ruler of this land is!"*** Octharg shouted before letting off a menacing laugh.
Last couple of enemies to clear out nearby while heading to the Eastern Cannon-Wall are some giant spiders. Yeah he found out being careful would be the best approach as he had one come up and destroy him quickly.
Luckily the next time around was better the damage was sneaky at first and the Fire Elemental shifted focus of the spider off of Octharg and together, they managed to bring them both down before heading to rest by the next spot after a nap.
