## Project: Hive Inbox / hReplier

As stated in [yesterday's post](https://ecency.com/hive-139531/@thehivemobileapp/2024-08-09-the-hive-mobile-app-update), App was rejected by Apple & due to that we are making several changes on both backend & front-end.

### API Improvements

- Today, we improved APIs for reporting content & reporting users
- Both APIs accept reason, reported by user and it also stores the date & time when it was reported.
- We tested these APIs locally & after that we deployed it to production.

### UX for Account Deletion

- From Settings, user can now request for account deletion.
- This account deletion is applicable to "Hive Inbox" application.
- Hive Account will remain intact & user can use their hive-account anywhere else.

### App Crash Fixed - Settings - Share This App

- From Settings, upon tapping on Share app, on tablets / iPad, app was crashing
- This crash has been addressed & issue is fixed.
- I tested it in one of the iPadOS simulator & confirmed that the fix is done.

- Just like above issue, share a comment on tablet / iPad, was not working
- After making necessary changes, we were able to fix this issue.

- After fixing everything which was blocking release, we generated a new build.
- I uploaded new build to testflight using xcode.

- Added those items to the reply
- Sent it to AppStore's review team using resolution center.

### hReplier - Submitted to AppStore

- After adding necessary details like test account, how to test, what to test, we re-submitted the binary to Apple.
- This time, we've high hopes that Apple will review & approve the app.
- Wish us luck.

### What's Next?

- ✅ Now, we'll work on front-end.
- ✅ We'll create a separate branch for iOS app.
- ✅ These changes will be mostly related to AppStore submission.
- ✅ Once changes are done on front-end, we'll do thorough testing.
- ✅ After testing, we're aiming to ship it to AppStore next week. Wish us luck.

- I support several contests hosted by different communities.
- I reward them with Hive-Power-up for the contribution that they have made on communities on Hive.
- We keep transferring portion of hive power to different users on Hive for encouraging them for their contribution on Hive.
