Hello to all the members of this community, it's a pleasure to be able to discuss with you several ideas that I have come up with over time in order to increase the adoption of **Hive** while gradually improving the ecosystem and what it offers with its decentralized applications. Being in the blockchain, cryptocurrencies and NFTs sector for more than 3 years has allowed me to explore, investigate, study and healthily compare the features and fundamental elements of most of the decentralized protocols, social networks and decentralized mechanisms on the Internet, because of this, I want to share all my ideas in order to reflect an improvement before any new change is implemented in the ecosystem.
If you don't know me yet you can do it by reading [my introduction post](https://ecency.com/hive-110011/@theinfiltred/hola-soy-eddy-i-introduce), besides that, as elements that are not evident in my post, I'm currently studying Blockchain Engineering at **[Alchemy University](https://www.alchemy.com/university)**, besides being NFT Product Manager of several projects in my native country, advisor and consultant in digital assets and non-fungible tokens. I am commenting this in a way to corroborate the information I'm about to say and that it can be well seen and received by the **Hive** project developer team(s).
I joined **Hive** on February 1st, 2022 and over time I have noticed several elements that can be deepened and expanded in the ecosystem, but to do so, several changes should be put in place, although I know that not all will be possible, I comment from my strategic vision those that can optimize the protocol:
## 1 - Digital collectibles
To date, content publication has been limited through decentralized posts with a maximum monetization duration of 7 days, being, out of this, not accessible to generate more HIVE tokens by votes. But what if this capacity is extended? With this I'm not referring so much to the acquisition of royalties but to the possibility of being able to give the value that each post deserves, and with this I present my first idea: **Collects**, a modality that allows users to collect the posts of other users of the ecosystem after 7 days and generate profits to their creators. This, on the one hand allows readers to stay up to date with the content of their favorite authors or offer an incentive in exchange for viewing the same after the range.
## 2 - NFTs
The point above attracts following from it, that each post would be a non-fungible token independent to the profile that creates them, being able to be collected by other users, which will refer to what I will discuss in point 3. But, in addition to that, it would be quite interesting to be able to visualize the items we have collected through the frontend on some wallet, such as @keychain for example. As is common in other wallets, being able to view our NFTs whether they be graphic art, videos, or sounds is a crucial element in adoption in my experience, but also **Hive** would be the only and the first blockchain to host posts as NFTs, a section for it within some wallet would be great.
## 3 - Aggregators
Extending the previous points, the **Aggregators** arise, which would be websites that gather both content in image format, videos, sounds, articles or "magazines" that can be collected without having to browse post by post within the ecosystem. This would optimize the exploration and acquisition processes of these collectibles, being able to filter by format and find easier what we're looking for in an orderly and fast way, while optionally rewarding content creators.
## 4 - Collectors
With this, collectors would also emerge, which would be those users who don't create content but are willing to pay for what creators offer, seeing in the long term what these posts represent as assets that are collected.
## 5 - Curation
Curating content is fine, and doing it manually is also fine; although this idea is still rather in development, so far, what I can say is that there are many users in the ecosystem that create and share original and valuable content, while respecting the basic rules of publishing within the ecosystem. That said, I believe that users who meet these requirements (original content, content of value, frequency of posting, knowledge of and respect for the basic rules of the ecosystem) deserve to fall into a pool of liquid incentive fanbases on a permanent basis that curators can create in the interest of rewarding them for their work within the ecosystem. Anyone could earn this, and it could even be tied to badges as proof of content certification, and users would be more incentivized to create. **Hive** ecosystem is more blogging oriented, so keeping those users who give their time for visibility both inside and outside the ecosystem happy would be a great help to the protocol itself.
## 6 - Privacy
We all know the features of a blockchain, but if we want to increase the very value of **Hive** as an infrastructure, we have to take the protocol to the next level. Privacy is a key factor not only in technology and social media, but also in everyday life, in our homes, our money and even our minds. No one comes and enters our homes to see how much money we have in our piggy bank, or gets into our minds to read them, do they? So should be all blockchains, decentralized schemes that practice privacy. Saying that how about making **Hive** the first of its kind? I know that reading many of you may agree, or not, in particular it's not a problem for me that someone inquires and visualize how much money I have or I have generated, and I already know the tips to create a new account to put the savings there or not link my **Hive** profile with my natural identity, yes, rather I mean this to be able to place a switch or an on/off button where we can allow users to see our funds or not. This idea came from an article read by @uncubanomas.
## 7 - Mass adoption
It's not bad true that **X**, formerly **Twitter**, has declined a lot and is no longer the same app as before, but it's still the app where most cryptocurrency enthusiasts, collectors and content creators linked to decentralized schemes and non-fungible tokens are found. Adoption is intended to generate but adoption is not generated inward, but outward, with **X** being the best alternative to realize it. Starting by verifying the account that represents the **Hive** ecosystem on **X**, increasing content creation from there, doing more account giveaways and enabling the requirement for **X**'s API usability will go a long way in drawing a lot of people's attention to that app, filling the phone screens of users who use it, with **Hive** posts and trending, generating curiosity about it. There is nothing to lose by giving it a try.
## 8 - SocialFi App
Many protocols and blockchains have already created their SoFi applications in just a few weeks, I still don't know how easy or difficult it's todevelop them, but I don't see it being that arduous. With this, I dare to say that many of these protocols have created theirs, although not 100% official, and have received a gradual increase of users in days, which has allowed them to make adoption more flexible, mainly, making people who have not been familiar with cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens have already obtained their first steps. I don't know if there is anyone in **Hive** implementing something similar or better yet, but it's time; if I had the time to do it I would, but that's why I raise it as an idea, so someone else with more time and/or resources can implement it. While I don't disagree that SocialFi doesn't bring incremental content of value, it is an opportunity to grow the ecosystem. The opportunity is now!
## 9 - EVM Compatible
At this point I can give two variants, the first would be to try (somehow) to make the **Hive** blockchain more noticeable as an infrastructure and not as an ecosystem, either through the bridges that enable the chain that form the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) or the possibility of adding the creation of NFTs from external marketplaces, as **Rarible**, **OpenSea** and **Mintable** have enabled, even being able to integrate the protocol with what **[Bonfire](https://bonfire.xyz)** (very good things could be done with it) offers. This will open the eyes of other Internet users to the protocol, and with this, the ecosystem, without taking them out of where they already are, since inciting them to leave where they already are won't be a good option. You guys can think about that or conceptualize my idea even better, it's just a basic idea.

And up to here a first part of ideas that I want to discuss with you, I think that in order to be seen by the governance and ecosystem developers, the best place to publish them would be here. I do not intend to force the realization or development of them, I just hope they will be useful at some point, but if something I guarantee is that by carrying out some of them you will see the remarkable changes that **Hive** will have in a short time.
