Hey @thekrimp , you’ve got yourself a new follower... one who’s  driving weekly through Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg and Germany. So there is a chance me might bump into each other. So keep on doing what you’re good at, and hopefully the rest will follow. My goals are a bit the same as yours, but I don’t have a clue How to attract those whales. To grow, you need tonnes of followers and for that you need lots and lots of comments, I'd say.  Thoughtful ones, relevant ones, funny ones.  Posts in the early stages of your time on the site are very much secondary in importance.  If you must write a post (such as this one here ;) ) and you find yourself writing a thoughtful, relevant funny comment elsewhere, later, where slipping in a link to your post might not look too bad, then maybe do so.

Just have fun, ultimately.  Give off good vibes.  (Avoid the trolls. *cough*)

But comment, comment, comment.

And make them good comments, consistently.

Finally, google is your friend.  If you have a steemit-stat question, ask google.  You can find some **very** useful metadata on the internet that will keep you motivated / going in the right direction.

For example, my latest favourite bookmarked app:  [Steem Followers.](https://steem.makerwannabe.com/@zool237/followers/4)  Have a look at what others are doing right / wrong compared to you.  Then, maybe adjust your strategy a little.  Think like a hero! ;)
