It’s been a long time coming, but I’m finally making some serious progress on new developments for the Hivelist project. The biggest focus right now is creating some much-needed Hive-based plugins for WordPress that will help tie together the off-chain parts of the project with Hive itself. This has been a vision of mine for a while, and it feels great to finally bring it to life!

## HBD Payments Plugin for WooCommerce

The first major plugin that I completed is the HBD Payments Plugin for WooCommerce. This one lets users make payments on the Hivelist Store using Hive-Keychain, making it super easy to pay with HBD. It works beautifully, and I’m already thinking about future upgrades. One of the main ideas I have is to add Hive as a payment option and have it convert automatically in the background on the Hive internal exchange, paying me out in HBD. That would give users even more flexibility while keeping everything streamlined. But for now, the HBD payment system works like a dream, so I’ve got some other priorities to tackle first before diving into upgrades.

## Hive Login Plugin for WordPress

The second plugin I’ve completed is the Hive Login Plugin, and man, this one has been long overdue! With this, Hive users can log into my WordPress/WooCommerce-based store using their Hive username and Hive-Keychain. If it’s their first time visiting, the plugin automatically creates a WordPress profile with their Hive username, making sign-on seamless. This is something I’ve wanted since the very beginning of Hivelist, and it’s finally here and working like a charm! 

One thing to note, though, is that this login system doesn’t pass over to the on-chain classifieds section which is on a different domain entirely and hosted by the Hive-Engine team. So, if you’re hopping between the store and the classifieds, you’ll need to log in separately. Still, this plugin is a game-changer for making Hive integration with WordPress smoother than ever.

## Next Up: WordPress to Hive Posting Plugin

With two solid plugins already in the bag, I’m gearing up for the next big one: a WordPress to Hive posting plugin. This will allow Hive users to create their own Hive-powered blogs with their own branding, using the power and flexibility of WordPress. Unlike previous options like SteemPress or Exxp, I won’t be taking any beneficiary rewards from posts, so users will get the full benefit of their Hive earnings. This is going to be a game-changer for people who want to blog on Hive while keeping full control over their website and brand. I’m really excited to get this rolling!

## Ads by Hivelist: A New Promotional Service

On top of all these developments, I also want to highlight the new **Ads by Hivelist** service! This is a new promotion system that utilizes our native LIST token for payment. Users can pay for post promotion using LIST, and we’ll be boosting those posts on Inleo Threads, X, and other platforms, depending on the tier chosen. This is a huge step forward in helping Hive users get more visibility for their content. Side note: The Payment plugin here is another little plugin I made. But it is built specifically around LIST and this particular service. But, this just lets you know that I can do stuff like that too, lol. 

## More to Come!

This is just the beginning of what’s coming for Hivelist. All these plugins will be available for sale on the Hivelist Store in the future, and I’ll be continuing to refine and expand the ecosystem to make Hive integration with WordPress even better. I am also looking at bringing back the Hivelist Website Service where I can build you your own Wordpress/WooCommerce based site and connecting it with the Hive blockchain and Hive-Keychain. I’m stoked to finally bring these long-overdue developments to life, and I can’t wait to see how the community uses them. Stay tuned for more updates!
