What Happened?

It's been a long 24 hours if you work or play using the Steem blockchain. I can't remember how long the blockchain was down after HF20, but it seems like we got close with this multi-fork (HF21, HF22, and HF23). Fortunately we're back up and running. That's important because without Steem, we can't play Steem Monsters. Isn't technology truly marvelous?

The upside of the blockchain breaking is that we can use the downtime to take a break from filling those blocks. 

Personally, I have been getting out into nature. I checked a lot of boxes.

- The beach
- The mountains
- The river

I got to spend a lot of time in or near the water, which is the dream for me. I went for a hike to a waterfall today where I got to swim. The water was very cold which was nice after a long hike. 

Now I'm back and the blockchain is back. It's been a good day.

I'd like to say I enjoyed nature also, but after a hot dry summer, and smoke filled skies, it decided to rain on Sunday and Monday. So I re-acquainted myself with Sid Meir's Civ 5. It had been a few years since playing.

Watched crypto content about EOS on youtube, heard aggroed and drakos on the PAL discord explaining what was happening and what they were doing, same old same old...

It seems the problem was with a vote that was giving someone 2 Trillion STEEM, thank god the chain went down, if it didn't we would all be screwed, by now we would probably have had to fork the chain and we would have a STEEM Classic version of Version with someone with 2 Trillion STEEM
