Where is the UNI token going?

I've been watching the UNI token ever since the airdrop.  I sold my air drop around $5, which at the time was really good as most people sold it immediately for around $3-3.5.  I was planning on buying it back on a dip.

Instead, I provided liquidity for ETH-USDC pairing for two months when UniSwap was providing UNI based incentives to their pools.  Most of this time UNI was priced under $4 with no growth in sight.

Around the time the pool incentives were ending, the price of UNI started to climb and passed $5 and then $6.

Today UNI is over $7, I'm sure most of this is the result of ETH climbing over 100% in value.

If you have been following UniSwap, you know they are working on UniSwap v3 and they believe this will be a major improvement to the platform.

One of the main focuses of UniSwap v3 is addressing slippage and capital efficiency as you can tell from another quote from founder Hayden Adams.

UniSwap currently has over 3 billion dollars in liquidity with a 24 hour volume of over 590 million dollars.  It is pretty clear UniSwap isn't a fad and won't be disappearing.

I personally plan on holding UNI until the release of v3 and see where that takes it.    I am not qualified to give out financial advice and only sharing my own personal experiences.  As always, before making financial decisions, go ask your mom.

Woohoo!  I picked up some Uni after the price started to drop.  I have never used the platform before then so I wasn't able to get the airdrop.  I wish I had.  Live and learn I guess.  I don't hold a ton of Uni, but I am happy to see that the price is starting to go back up!

Yeah when UNI crashed to $2 I knew the bottom was in but I didn't want to divert my value from any of my other investments. 

Sold it and lost most of it trading for Hive :D

I sold my airdrop too and just left 5 tokens as a "moon bag". Since airdrop happened price was dumped from about $7 and dropped between $3-$4 for like 3-4 months and now finally starts to jump but it is because of bullish market not a token itself so my point of view is that people are not really interested about buying UNI at all. If they will make an option to use it to pay fees or have discount on fees like exchanges than will be a point to hodl it but apart from it I can't see any reason to hodl. Might be wrong :)

Governance and Protocol fee switch, if the switch fee gets activated, 0.05 of the 0.03 liquidity fee will be given to UNI token holders.

There are potentially other things that may come from it in the future. I really want to see what happens with v3 and how it affects this.

It took me a couple months to get my air drop, most likely my technical inability. As such I had stage IV FOMO and bought a small bag averaging ~4.00

I have put them all on Celsius earning 4.01%. Had not though much about them until reading this. Think I will put in my calendar to see where they are Christmas 2021. Don't worry, they wont get lonely they have lost of friends in Celsius ;)
