# Please forgive me for not taking the time to edit my posts....as the speed of steemit has been extremely SLOW....~~~~~

## Many posts/comments I tried to respond to but it seems to take about 20-30 seconds for me to *upvote* someone or to comment/edit.  It is getting very frustrating using the Steemit platfojorm and frankly I am very disappointed because I had high hopes when I joined.  The *payouts* used to be fair then something happened after the hardfork (I am not sure if that is the entire cause).  If Steemit continue to not fix these issues I believe Steemit is going to be in dire straits.  I believe more and more users will leave (many already have) and whales and dolphins will continue to vote for one another and drain the payout pool.  I hate to sound like a delicate snow flake but the fact is these issues need to be addressed.

Problems seem to be constrained to the steemit.com web frontend only. Today I had to post using the python API because steemit.com ate my post, twice, while posting.   Seems like the underlying platform is just fine and dandy but the site(s) running the web frontend are in a mess and things aren't getting better quickly. 

The most annoying part is basically that there doesn't really seem to be any central communication explaining the situation. The Steemit community is great and there are a lot of smart people here who I'm sure would both be able and willing to lend a hand in solving the persistent issues the web frontend seems to be suffering.
