Trump's blatant lies are provably false with ridiculous facility, and this list of payouts for damages of Epstein's business associates is one source of proof.  ~$760M is a lot of evidence that accusations against Epstein aren't fake or irrelevant.  Trump is clearly on the ropes and desperate to prevent being called to account for his role in facilitating Epstein's crimes.  I believe his career is over, and the Republican Party must either eject him from it's membership or go down with him.

It's entirely possible Trump is being blackmailed, because I believe that *everyone* in power is being blackmailed, but I think that isn't Trump's real problem.  I think Trump is a *blackmailer*, having trained at the knee of Roy Cohn, perhaps the most infamous self-confessed blackmailer pimping little boys to politicians, for decades.  Trump has also been strongly associated with both Epstein and Diddy, also obvious honeypot operators providing blackmail material for intelligence agencies, and Trump also acquired the Weiner laptop files and NXIVM files during his first administration.  Trump has attained the peak of his powers as an extortionist, the intelligence agencies of the most powerful countries in the world at his command, occupying the bully pulpit of the Presidency, and Commander in Chief of the US military, by far the most powerful military force on Earth - and he has engineered his own downfall by running his campaign for that office on releasing the Epstein files.

The problem with everyone being blackmailed, is that everyone is aware that everyone else is blackmailed, and what they're being blackmailed for.  This has been a sort of Mutually Assured Destruction threat that they all have each against the others, and now Trump's back is against the wall and he either continues to indict himself by blatantly lying and disavowing his base, or he throws some of the blackmailed under the bus.  There hasn't been a purge of DOJ, CIA, FBI and etc. agencies, so all the never-Trumpers that have prospered in those agencies heretofore are engineering this rock and hard place that is putting Trump in an impossible dilemma.  Trump has earned all the love and respect due extortionists from his political enemies, whom have considerable power on the Seventh floor at State, and in the aforementioned agencies, as well as across Europe, China, Iran, and the rest of the world.

If he does start releasing blackmail proof, he both starts relinquishing his power over his victims, and gives all those political enemies existential cause to join together in a concerted push to throw the Donald under the bus instead of any of them.  That would likely be fatal, particularly if there is heinous evidence of criminality that can be released about Trump, because hell hath no fury like MAGAts betrayed by a false messiah.  It would be vastly better for Trump to simply have his career and legacy destroyed as it is being now, by lying and claiming there is no Epstein conspiracy that everyone will know is complete bullshit.  That only ends with him reviled and hated, rather than imprisoned and possibly executed for crimes against humanity, if not torn limb from limb by the former true believers he betrayed.  Again.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
