Lovely Poem With Flower CENTERED On Page(?), with Markdown Helper Link

<p>&lt;center&gt;<strong>A child might ask me, (knowing well), "What makes the flowers grow?"</strong>&lt;/center&gt;<br>
&lt;center&gt;<strong>Hoping to learn some subtle truth, I answer "I don't know".</strong>&lt;/center&gt;<br>
&lt;center&gt;<strong>If I said it was the rain, would I leave out soil and earth?</strong>&lt;/center&gt;</p>
<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>&lt;center&gt;<strong>(And not to mention ashes that are taken from the hearth.)</strong> &lt;/center&gt;<br>
&lt;center&gt;<strong>Now I say, 'Our breath creates the world in gentle swirls,</strong>&lt;/center&gt;</p>
<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>&lt;center&gt;<strong>and flowers make perfume to help remind the boys and girls.'</strong>&lt;/center&gt;<br>
&lt;center&gt;<strong>And so I'm reminded by a child that I was once too tall,</strong>&lt;/center&gt;</p>
<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>&lt;center&gt;<strong>to pluck such a flower from Heavens wall.</strong>&lt;/center&gt;</p>

One day all these nice formatting tools will be built right into Steemit. We'll have fancy buttons that do what they say they do, insert images and center them, videos etc etc... It's gonna be great!!!

And we'll look back and laugh at the hours we spent just trying to get the damn images centered lol...

Until then., we press on....

lol, I feel you. To me the problem is that Steem it offering two methods to post. HTML and markdown.

They can't really be mixed because markdown is meant to be a simplified html I guess, I never heard of it until I came here. But you can use HTML, but even that might not produce the results you expect.

And that is because the site has to sanitize some html to keep the site safe from malicious scripts and the like... It's a mess at the moment but will get better :)
