Hello Steemians,  I have a short technical question. I´ve red that the voting power a person has declines with every upsteem, ämm upvote executed. I also know that you shouldn´t vote more than 20 times a day because than all your votes are almost worth nothing. So far so good. My question is now how the regeneration works. Is the a global reset for all members voting power? For example are all voting powers refueled at 1pm PCT or is there another mechanism that counts the timeintervall between your votes? For example I vote today at 11am PCT for one very interesting post. Do I have my full voting power back at 11am and one minute tomorrow. Or does the mechanism work completely different. Thanks for your help in advance!

that is a great page! Didn´t knew about it! but as I learned today the next fork will change this again. So it´s best to wait until it happened to fully understand the process of voting power regeneration.

I think the only real difference for the hard fork as a minnow is your vote will be worth more but also you will lose power faster as far as voting power goes. So, if you wanted to keep the same power and the same amount of votes, just lower the voting power down to like 25% (not sure the number off the top of my head) and things will be the same as they are now. However it's going to work out, you should still be able to check on steemd.com what your voting power is and adjust your power and voting habits accordingly after the hard fork.

Voting regeneration is an ongoing process without specific start or end times. You continuously regen your vote power % at a rate of 20% per 24 hours. However since the hard fork this morning, your 100% Full Vote now drains 4 times more than it used to. Before each vote cost 0.5% power, not its 2%. Prior to the hard fork, I didn't know of anything slowing the regen. I'd almost guess there was a small voting spree (which isn't really a bad thing.) :)

Hi. My voting power changed only by 1% (47-46) in 24h. I definitely didnt vote more than 20 times so I dont know why it doesnt regenerate. Any thoughts why?

If you stop voting all together, you'll see roughly 1% regen per hour. But each 100% vote reduces your power by 2%. So it's hard to say exactly without knowing all the percentages you voted with (if you have the slider bar available.) Technically we are allocated 10 - 100%/full votes per day (which would cost 20% vote power). So my best guess would be that your 20 votes in that time frame averaged about 50% each. I'd heard some people recently saying that vote power % was going down a little faster than the 2% per full vote, but I've not tested this at all yet.
