Here we are once again, on this Friday, June 13, 2025, with a hot cup in hand, a willing heart and a phrase that invites us to move, even if it's just one more little step: **“take one more step ”**. A huge salute to the always inspiring @mariannewest's and to @daily.prompt, who day by day motivate us to write, remember, heal and smile with the words ✍️.
Today the city of Buenos Aires dawns with that rare mix between tasty cold and announcement of strong storms 🌧️⚡... so if you're around here, I recommend a blanket, something warm and, why not, a good story that hugs us inside. And if you're far away, **let's embrace with this text!** 😄
So... no more excuses, **let's live this beginning of the weekend with emotion, caution and lots of letters!** 💬💞

### 🌟 A story that started with rain... and ended with magic 🌟.
It was an ordinary Tuesday in the year 2023. I was coming from a complicated streak: family problems, accumulated tiredness from work, tight pocketbook, and those questions that sometimes creep into my head without permission. **“Am I doing things right? Is it worth it? What if I give up? ”** 😞
That day, the sky had turned gray early in the morning. The rain was relentless. It was cold outside... and colder inside. Still, something pushed me to go out. I put on an old jacket, the one that doesn't go with anything anymore but keeps you warm as if your mom was hugging you. I grabbed the umbrella **(broken, of course)** and went for an aimless walk.
After half an hour of getting wet for fun, I turned down a street I had never taken before. And there, right there, something happened that changed the tone of my day, and perhaps even the course of my life.
There was a little girl, about seven years old, standing under a small roof, selling thread bracelets. Her shoes were soaked and she had a smile bigger than the whole street. I approached her and asked her if she wasn't cold. She stared at me, as if the question seemed like a joke to her, and said:
**"Cold? The cold is going away, but if I sell these three bracelets, I can buy bread for my mom. "** 🥹 🥹
I didn't know what to say. I just pulled out the few bills I had in my pocket and bought all three. She handed me one that had the word **“Faith ”** written on it with colored threads, and said:
**"This one is for you not to stop, sir. If you take one more step, something nice always happens."** I swear to you that instant I felt as if I were in the middle of something beautiful.
I swear that in that instant I felt as if the universe had spoken to me through her. As if that sentence had been waiting all day to be said. 💫
I returned home soaking wet, my socks cold, but my soul on fire. I made myself a coffee, opened the notebook, and started writing. That night came out one of the most sincere texts I've ever done. Because I understood that life doesn't get better in big turns... it gets better when we decide to **take one more step**, even if it's small, even if it's shaky. 🚶♂️❤️
And that girl... I don't know her name, I don't know if I'll ever see her again, but every time I see that bracelet on my desk, I'm reminded that we're not here to stop. We are here to move forward. Even if it rains. Even if it hurts. Even if we are afraid.

Maybe you too have had days like this. Gray days, of heavy silences, where the soul asks for truce and one wonders if it's worth it to go on. But if you are reading this, let me tell you something from the heart: **yes, it is worth it**. Sometimes life tests us just before it shows us the beautiful. Sometimes the magical is behind the next step...the one you didn't take yet. 🌟

### ¡Hola, querida comunidad de #freewriters! 💙
Aquí estamos una vez más, en este viernes 13 de junio del 2025, con una taza caliente en la mano, el corazón dispuesto y una frase que nos invita a movernos, aunque sea un pasito más: **“take one more step”**. Un saludo enorme para la siempre inspiradora @mariannewest’s y para @daily.prompt, quienes día a día nos motivan a escribir, recordar, sanar y sonreír con las palabras ✍️.
Hoy la ciudad de Buenos Aires amanece con esa mezcla rara entre frío sabroso y anuncio de tormentas fuertes 🌧️⚡… así que si andas por acá, te recomiendo una mantita, algo calentito y, por qué no, una buena historia que nos abrace por dentro. Y si estás lejos, **¡abracémonos con este texto!** 😄
Así que… sin más excusas, **¡vamos a vivir este inicio de fin de semana con emoción, precaución y muchas letras!** 💬💞

### 🌟 Una historia que empezó con lluvia… y terminó con magia 🌟
Fue un martes cualquiera del año 2023. Yo venía de una racha complicada: problemas familiares, el cansancio acumulado del trabajo, el bolsillo ajustado, y esas preguntas que a veces se meten en la cabeza sin permiso. **“¿Estoy haciendo bien las cosas? ¿Esto vale la pena? ¿Y si me rindo?”** 😞
Ese día, el cielo se había puesto gris desde temprano. La lluvia no daba tregua. Había frío afuera… y más adentro. Aun así, algo me empujó a salir. Me puse una chaqueta vieja, esa que ya no combina con nada pero abriga como si te abrazara tu mamá. Agarré el paraguas **(roto, por supuesto)** y me fui a caminar sin rumbo.
Después de media hora de mojarme por gusto, doblé por una calle que nunca había tomado. Y ahí, justo ahí, ocurrió algo que cambió el tono de mi día, y quizás hasta el rumbo de mi vida.
Había una niña, como de siete años, parada bajo un techito, vendiendo pulseras de hilo. Tenía los zapatos empapados y una sonrisa más grande que la calle entera. Me acerqué y le pregunté si no tenía frío. Me miró fijo, como si la pregunta le pareciera un chiste, y me dijo:
**“¿Frío? El frío se va, pero si vendo estas tres pulseras, le puedo comprar pan a mi mamá.”** 🥹
No supe qué decir. Solo atiné a sacar los pocos billetes que tenía en el bolsillo y le compré las tres. Ella me entregó una que tenía escrita con hilos de colores la palabra **“Fe”**, y me dijo:
**“Esta es para que no te detengas, señor. Si uno da un paso más, siempre pasa algo lindo.”**
Te juro que en ese instante sentí como si el universo me hubiera hablado a través de ella. Como si esa frase hubiera estado esperando todo el día para ser dicha. 💫
Volví a casa empapado, con las medias frías, pero el alma encendida. Me preparé un café, abrí el cuaderno, y empecé a escribir. Esa noche salió uno de los textos más sinceros que he hecho. Porque entendí que la vida no mejora en grandes giros… mejora cuando decidimos **dar un paso más**, así sea pequeño, así sea tembloroso. 🚶♂️❤️
Y esa niña… no sé su nombre, no sé si la volveré a ver, pero cada vez que veo esa pulsera en mi escritorio, me acuerdo de que no estamos aquí para detenernos. Estamos para avanzar. Aunque llueva. Aunque duela. Aunque tengamos miedo.

Quizás tú también has tenido días así. Días grises, de silencios pesados, donde el alma pide tregua y uno se pregunta si vale la pena seguir. Pero si estás leyendo esto, déjame decirte algo desde el corazón: **sí, vale la pena**. A veces la vida nos prueba justo antes de mostrarnos lo bonito. A veces lo mágico está detrás del próximo paso… ese que aún no diste. 🌟
Por eso, hoy te invito a reflexionar:
¿Has tenido algún momento así?
¿Una frase, una persona, un detalle mínimo que te cambió el día o el camino?
¿Te has detenido justo antes de algo importante… o diste ese paso y viste el milagro?
